I totally agree with this video. What has happened to the SSPX? The Chapel of the Holy Face in St. Catharines Ontario is nearly empty. One can obviously see families have left a great number. SSPX in dabbling with Modernist Rome has caused this. I truly believe that it will hurt the SSPX with it's wanting to be recognized by Rome.

十世会 譲歩と侵食の7年

Let us recall the last six years of the process of reunification, and assess where it is at today.

The decisive step in that process was the Society’s General Chapter of 2012, where it renounced the Archbishop’s fundamental principle that without a doctrinal agreement between the Society and Rome, no merely practical agreement could serve the Church. This is because a Catholic is a Catholic firstly by his subjective virtue of faith submitting his mind and will to the objective creed of the Church’s Faith. What the error of subjectivism does is to render the objective Faith subjective, so that I become free to believe, and consequently to behave, how I like. Like believing 2 and 2 are 4, OR 5 OR 6 OR 6,000,000. This unfaith of Vatican II the Society essentially adopted in 2012, yet Society leaders immediately began reassuring their priests and laity that nothing essential had changed in the Society. BUT –

In 2013 began a series of publicly admitted meetings in Rome with the Roman authorities, to prepare a step-by-step process of full recognition. This process duly followed:—

In 2014, There were visits of Roman dignitaries to SSPX seminaries, and there was the temporary Jubilee “concession” of official jurisdiction for SSPX Confessions.

In 2015, the “concession” on Confessions and Extreme-Unction was made permanent.

In 2016, priestly ordinations in the SSPX were no longer to be punished by suspension “a divinis.”

In 2017, Society Marriages were rendered “licit” by the participation of a Newchurch priest as witness.

In 2018, the SSPX General Chapter elected for their General Council three men who are no tigers of the Faith, and created two new positions alongside them (General Councillors) to enable Bishop Fellay and Fr. Schmidberger to retain their power as the two leading tigers of reunification.

And in 2019? – Rome has just re-absorbed the Commission Ecclesia Dei (ED) into the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), from which it was hived off in 1988 to draw back to Rome Catholics tempted by the Society’s episcopal consecrations to follow the Archbishop instead of Rome. As such, ED was meant to be relatively kind to Traditionalists. But Pope Francis has no time for Tradition. Therefore since the Newsociety now agrees with Rome that there is no longer the clash with Rome that there was in 1988, he has put an end to ED. But ED was kind to Tradition, whereas the CDF are tigers of the Newchurch.

Could anyone seriously have imagined the day would come when the SSPX would allow itself to be used to subdue the spread of the Latin Mass for its own ends? For anyone who has wondered why Pope Francis has acted benevolently towards the SSPX whilst using the whip on the like of the FFI then here we have it. If this is true then we are now at the stage where the Latin Mass will be ghettoised within one Fraternity held on a short lease by Rome.

God’s way is rarely the easy way. Here is an email from a reader of these “Comments,” elaborating on a point raised here often but that cannot be raised too often, because it lies at the heart of the problem and danger for the Society of St Pius X since 2012 and for the foreseeable future: the down-grading of doctrine . Here is what he writes, abbreviated and edited as usual for these “Comments”:—

When I think about the Society’s 2012 switch from doctrine before practice to practice before doctrine, ending in a secret agreement with things going unsaid but no less agreed, I do believe that the SSPX Headquarters have been behaving like the Communists whose tactic it was, in post-war France, to say to Catholics, “ Look, you want to help the working class just like we do, but you have the Faith, whereas we are atheists. Let us leave to one side questions of doctrine. You let us keep our Marxist ideology, and we will not ask you to abandon your Faith. Let us just act together to relieve the workers’ misery and to give back a bit of hope to the victims of modern society.” And by this means the large number of worker-priests who had consented to lead the lives of factory workers were turned into Marxists. The reason was, as St Augustine said, that if I do not act as I think I will end up thinking as I act. Pius XII forbade the worker-priest experiment to continue, but only after many priests had been lost to the priesthood. And the future Paul VI in Rome and the Archbishop of Paris rivalled with one another in undermining Pius XII’s ruling, because already then they believed 
more in action than in doctrine.

SSPX PRESS RELEASE:
The General Chapter of the SSPX has elected two additional Assistants General to serve on the Council of the Superior General, Father Davide Pagliarani, in accordance with the common law of the Church.
They are Bishop Bernard Fellay, former Superior General (1994-2018) and Father Franz Schmidberger, former Superior General (1982-1994) and currently Director of the Herz Jesu Seminary in Zaitzkofen (Germany).
 
Indeed, the creation of these two positions, and the nomination of these two officials to fill them, cannot signify anything else but an intensification of the efforts by the General Chapter to have the Society reach an official agreement with non-converted Rome.
I think it is not far-fetched to believe that these two new positions were, in fact, created especially for these two people [Fellay & Schmidberger], so that they could work "behind-the-scenes" with Roman dignitaries [sic], while having some level of official credibility in the eyes of Rome.
In other words: such a change to the Statutes of the Society is a clear indicator that the General Chapter "means business" with the issue of an agreement with non-converted Rome.... Indeed, instead of listening to the serious and compelling arguments of The Resistance against an agreement with non-converted Rome, the General Chapter has decided to change the Statutes so as to get such an official "recognition" from Rome.

True Catholics, the upshot is that Fellay will remain de facto Chief Tyrant until at least 2030, with Schmidberger as Assistant Tyrant. The Neo-SSPX has taken a giant step into the Novus Ordo swamp. The Neo-SSPX now gets two tyrants instead of one for the next twelve years!

To replace Bernie Fellay (1994-2018), the 24-year Superior-dictator of the Neo-SSPX, the 41 members of the Neo-SSPX General Chapter elected on July 11, 2018, Fr. Davide Pagliarani as Superior-general until the year 2030. The General Chapter is taking place from July 11-21, 2018, in Econe, Switzerland, in the archseminary of the Neo-SSPX.

Pagliarani, a 47-year-old Italian who was ordained in 1996 by Fellay himself, is of relatively recent vintage. He served in the small town of Rimini, Italy, and became Fellay's Superior for the District of Italy. Since 2012 he has been rector of the Neo-SSPX's seminary in La Reja, Argentina, succeeding Bishop Richard Williamson, who abandoned Fellay and his Neo-SSPX because of Fellay's impending sellout to Newrome. On July 12, 2018, Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, one of Archbishop Lefebvrre's four original bishops, was elected First Assistant, and Fr. Christian Bouchacourt, Superior of the French District, was elected Second Assistant.

Davide Pagliarani is described by those who know him as "moderate and diplomatic" -- in other words, a man who is not likely to have the courage to stand up publicly and firmly against the heretical Newchurch and its heretical Newpope Francis-Bergoglio like a Savonarola, as is called for. There is also the suspicion that an Italian was elected to expedite the merger of the Neo-SSPX with Newchurch. It is suspected that he is going to be a front for Superior-dictator Bernie Fellay, who had fallen into such antipathy for his high-handed actions to sell out to the New Order that he could not be re-elected in nomine ipso.

Alfonso de Galarreta is the least well-known of the four original bishops whom the originally-traditional SSPX's founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, consecrated in 1988. Galarreta signally failed to check Bernie Fellay's Grand Plan to sell out the Neo-SSPX, which Fellay reorganized away from the Archbishop's original traditional organization, but together with Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais and, to a lesser extent, Bishop Richard Williamson, remained almost silent in the face of the planned sellout.

Christian Bouchacourt is a notorious autocrat. When several leading Neo-SSPX priests in France, seven deans and three superiors, publicly disagreed with Bernie Fellay's sellout of Neo-SSPX marriages to the authority of Newchurch, Bouchacourt had the priests literally thrown out of their churches. Bouchacourt also spent "buddy buddy" time in Buenos Aires with Jorge Bergoglio (later Francis-Bergoglio), when the latter was Newarchbishop there. Writing in the August 2008 issue of Si Si No NoFr. Pagliarani said of Vatican II:

The very finality of the Council, convoked with the explicit intention not to define truths of faith and not to condemn error (cf. Gaudet Mater Ecclesia), inaugurated a magisterium with a novel method and approach… the Second Vatican Council was convoked not to define dogmas, correct errors, or condemn doctrinal deviations as in the past, but to bond with the modern world. This decision to leave aside any intention of imposing certain truths of faith meant that the Council was intended to abstain from teaching in the objective, traditional, and magisterial sense of the term.

These words were written nearly a decade ago and one wonders:

Does Fr. Pagliarani believe that the Society has a duty to teach in the objective, traditional, and magisterial sense of the term, and if so, does he still believe that this necessarily involves correcting errors and condemning doctrinal deviations, otherwise it will merely be bonding with the modern world?

The extract is a detailed account of the September 1976 conversation held between the Pope and Archbishop Lefebvre, within two months of the Mass celebrated by the Archbishop in front of a huge crowd in Lisle, France. That Mass marked the beginning of the Traditional movement, so the Pope wanted to rein in the Archbishop.
