この一ヶ月に実施したい模様だが、もはや遅いんじゃないかなあとは多少思う。ともあれ、自国に感染者が入ったり、未登録の人移動があったりしないように、と。
「South Africa will build a fence along its border with Zimbabwe within a month to prevent people infected with coronavirus and undocumented migrants from entering its territory, Public Works Minister Patricia de Lille has said.」
「The number of people diagnosed in South Africa with the virus has risen to 150 since it was detected about two weeks ago in a South African who had visited Italy.」
南アはすでに流行を始めているのである。二週間ほど前、イタリア帰りの人が感染しており、いまは150名の感染を確認。
「The construction would be part of the emergency measures that the government had decided to take after President Cyril Ramaphosa declared the virus a national disaster on Sunday.」
「A 1.8m (5ft 11in) high fence, stretching for 20km (12.4 miles), would be built on either side of the Beitbridge border, the main crossing between the two nations, the minister said.」
1.8mの高さのフェンスを20kmにわたって張っても…ちょっと効果は微妙なような気が。

とまあ、従来から問題だった越境者問題について、これを奇貨として対策をしてみる…と言う感はさすがにあり（SAとしては、自国から感染者を外に出さない対策を求められはしないか）、むしろ今後問題となる感じ。何しろ、一応仮にも、ジンバブウェではまだ感染者を出していないことになっているようなのだ。

「Nigeria has confirmed four additional cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 12.
Health Minister Osagie Ehanire said on Thursday that the four new patients, from Lagos state, were stable and being treated.
Two of the new cases are people who travelled from the UK and France, while the third is a contact of a positive case. The last patient has no history of travel to high-risk countries.」
ナイジェリアでは感染者4名を確認、合計12名となる。問題は、新規ケースの2名はUKおよびフランスへの渡航歴があり、3名目はポジティブのひととの接触者であるが、4名目はハイリスク国への渡航歴のないひとだというあたり。市中感染を疑うべき気配、なきにしもあらずか。
一昨日の記事。イランの状況は、イタリアほどでないにせよ悪化している。

「The official death toll in Iran from the coronavirus disease has risen to 1,135, after 147 new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
Another 1,192 cases have also been confirmed, bringing the total to 17,361 - the third highest in the world.」
ただしWHOとしては、いま少し情報収集・公開に、更なる協力を要するぞと言うご意向らしい。
「The World Health Organization's (WHO) Middle East chief has called on countries to share more information.
Dr Ahmed Al Mandhari said the agency's teams had observed "uneven approaches across the region", adding that much more ought to be done.」
「He warned that the disease could only be controlled if experts had the information that allowed them to understand its dynamics in the region.
"Unfortunately, even today, as the situation is becoming critical, information on cases is insufficiently communicated by countries to WHO," he said.」
