It's been busier than the usual
since yesterday
People are engaged in this trading business can easily understand this.
We have to cope with a lot of things before the long Chinese national holidays called 国慶節.
It depends on each year.
This year it starts from 30th September to 8th October.
Almost all of Chinese companies are close during that long period.
It means I need to check the all shipping schedules and regarding those documents have been reached.
Otherwise, we cannot receive our order goods without them likewise Invoice and Packaging list and B/L.
Needless to say,
All of them should be issued correctly; item, quantity, price ,weight port of discharge and so on and on
One of my important assignment is to check them very carefully.
What if there is a mistake on it?
I contact the shipper and ask them to revise it immediately.
Sometimes we don’t have enough time to go through the customs clearance,
I make a phone call to tell about it to cope with.
So especially for this time of year,
My assignment needs to be precisely and faster.
All of things have to be finished by 29th September.
With paying much more attention than usual.
I was burned out
Fortunately,
I was able to make it before the Chinese holidays .
Looking back.
A year has been passed since I started work at this division.
Then my former boss worked on it together.
Still he left the company he reached the age to be retired.
Time flies
Before I knew it I have come to take care my assignment by myself.
On Thursday morning.
We got some gift from our Chinese supplier.
We opened the box,
Wow!!
The moon cakes!!
月餅!
This traditional sweets is to celebrate 中秋節; on 4th October.
To eat the moon cake one of those Chinese custom. Wishing for prosperity and their health.
We shared those mooncakes,
Each one is too big to eat when we enjoy afternoon tea!
