It has been chilly, hasn’t it?

It was my last day of the year today.

I have a lot of things to do before winter holidays but it was impossible finishing all of them within today.

今日は仕事納め。

休み前にあれやこれや、仕事山盛り😅1日で終わるわけないし💦

それにしても今日は、

わたしがチョイ席はずしの間にやたら電話がかかって「折り返しご連絡させます」連発の上司📞

申し訳ございませぬ😩

バタバタして気がつけば終業チャイム🙄

帰り際、みんなに挨拶して帰宅

帰り道今日のことを思い出しながら歩いていた。

折り返し電話させます‥

彼女に電話をしてもらうよう依頼します。

使役動詞というと、命令感多めに聞こえるが、このhaveには人に、〜してもらう、〜してもらうよう手配するのニュアンスになる。

Oh it looks good on you!

When did you go to a hair salon?

似合うやん！

いつ美容室行ったん？

I cut my hair!

切ったよ！

I can see it, it looks uneven.

見たらわかるよ。

ガタガタやん😱

have があるかないかでネイティブは状況がわかるのである。

そんなこんなで今年も残すところあとわずか。

しばらく仕事のことは忘れて、ぼんやり過ごせる😊

Hi there!

It’s getting colder day by day.

The other day I completed a big job.

It took almost three months❗️

3か月もかかった大仕事😅

Without my co-worker’s help I couldn’t have done it.

Although he is much younger than I am, he always keeps moving forward without any hesitation.

I really admired him.

I just took care of documentation. He is a sales rep, that means he communicates our clients directly regarding this big assignment.

We worked together on this and fulfilled our duty for three months. 

Just after finishing the job, he emailed me to say thank you. 

I’m the one who has to say thank you!

お礼を言うのはわたしの方。

彼がいて心強かった。

わたしは事務方に徹した。何かあれば彼に対応してもらった。
