I'm burned out.

Taking a driving lessons two hours in a raw is so tough!

Why does every one can drive a car so easily?

Actually, I'm still struggling with getting the hang of driving.

The instructor tells me the same thing every day. I understand what he's saying.

Do not look near sight !
Please see on your left side and right side and straight more widely and far than you think.

And the roads are wider than you see in a car.

Don't be afraid of being off the road when you go around a curve.
You are in the driving school.

I have been off the road twice when I was practicing how to cope with a curve.

And the instructor also said, if you scratch a car, you won't be charged.

Don't worry too much about it.

I am not cut for driving?
私って運転向いてない？

教習所に通い始めて二週間余り。
まだこわごわ乗っている。

先日初めて40km/hを出した。

若い男性の指導員さんだった。


学科も技能も教えるんや〜
どの先生よりも声がハッキリと聞きやすい。

危ない時は僕がブレーキを踏むから、怖がらずアクセス踏んでみて。

そう、私は最初の適性検査で「心配性」と出た。
いい風に言えば想像力豊か。

ひゃー怖い！
小さい声が出てしまった(^^;;

早く慣れましょう。
今、練習しないとスピード出せなくなるからね！

そして、私は英会話の先生の言葉を思い出していた。教習所に通い始めたこと、なかなか慣れないことetcを伝えたら‥

Once you get hang of it, you can control a car much easier than before.
Actually, my son got his drivers license recently!

コツさえつかめば、ずっと簡単に運転できるよ。うちの息子も最近免許とったよ。

でも歳が違う(^^;;


とにかく反復練習！
先生にブレーキを踏んでもらいながらスピードを出す練習を続けた。
何周も何周もコースを走った。
確かにこの日、私は初めて運転してる気がした。
これまでは車を動かしているだけだった。

もう一時間乗りたかったが空きがなかったから諦めた。

見極め段階から進まない(>_<)

Now I have a plenty of time.
Then I decided to go to a driving school.

Considering my age... too late?





Anyway,
I'm going to go and get my drivers license.

Incidentally,

the driving school is located in front of the company which I left two months ago.

A hat and sunglasses are essential for me.
I mean, they are must!

Partly because to avoid UV light.
Actually, I'm not happy to meet anyone who is working there.
It's embarrassing!



On the first day,
It was an orientation and I had to take some test.

It's so-called personal classification test.
What's it for?

To see if the person whose personality is cut out for driving or can be a safety driver.

What if the result was not that good?
The person is not able to take driving lessons?

Don't worry about it!
The answer is no.
They do the test to check each personality.

In my case, I'm the one who is worry some

I'm supposed to drive a car tomorrow!
I'm getting stage fright!

バイリンガルへの道 TOEIC リスニングセクション攻略法

バイリンガルへの道、
しばらく旅日記のようになってしまった

このあたりで、
TOEIC リスニングセクション攻略法のお話を少し(^O^)


限られた時間での解答。
multitaskが出来ないと、TOEICのリスニングセクションは攻略は難しくなる。

そういう意味では女性が優位だと言える。

テレビを見ながら夕飯の支度をし、更に携帯を耳にはさんで友達とランチの約束、そして帰宅してきた夫に「おかえり」と言う。

話を本題へ(^^;;
リスニングセクション、
会話や問題となるアナウンスなどが流れる前に必ず問題用紙の質問を先読みするのは基本。

正解を選択肢から即座に見つけ出すためには
これが不可欠。

どこを聞きとるか、約束の時間や曜日、結局キャンセルするかなど内容は多種多様。


質問を読み上げ始めたらすぐ解答をマークし、次の質問に目を通す。


試験に慣れるまでこの質問を読み上げる声が気になる。

私は対策として、
洋画やFOXドラマなどをかけながら
英字新聞を読み、内容を短時間でsummarizeしたり、ひたすら過去問でリスニングセクションのトレーニングをした。


何度か受験してみないとなかなか難しい。

バイリンガルへの道 旅行英会話 トラブル編 ②リスニング力をアップしよう

楽しかったバカンス最終日、
荷物をまとめチェックアウト。

市内通話で部屋の電話使ったけど大丈夫だった。

で、フロント前ロビーで10時半のシャトルバスを待っていた。

ロビーからは外を見渡せる。
空港行きの大きい観光バスが来る。

ピックアップはRoberts Hawaii。

ハワイでよく見かけるツアー会社だ。
昔はウサギの絵が書いてあったが今は緑色の花？みたいな絵がバスに書いてある。

5分過ぎ、10分過ぎても来ない(^^;;
滞在してた時、ヒルトン ハワイアンビレッジの増築工事をしていてよく渋滞が発生していた。

混んでるのかな？
いや、でもこれ以上遅れたらマズイ。
セキュリティチェックはかなり厳しく時間がかかる。

仕方なくRoberts Hawaiiの事務所へ電話した。

念のため、ドライバーとバスのナンバーを聞き、引き続き待った。
5分もしないうちに、あ、来た来た！


英会話に慣れるまでは電話でのやり取りは相当難しい。聞き取れない。

いろいろな英会話をたくさん聞くしかない。

私はリスニング力をアップのため
少しスピードを早くしたものをdictationディクテーションした。
聞きながら書き取る。何度も何度も。

すると自分の聞き取れないポイントが客観的に分かる。


もし、電話で相手に伝わったかどうか不安ならメールをもらうなどして内容を確認することもオススメ。
