Let me tell you what I am up to these days.

英文法おさらい中の今日この頃、仕事は超〜忙し(^_^;)

ちょい近況報告

It’s been so busy 

2 months ago, it was so quiet.

ほんの2カ月前は開店休業^^;

Because of the corona virus.

I help with the overseas division and mainly cope with an import.

While aback, almost all of companies and factories in China stop working.

Needless to say our suppliers are the same.

The stock was getting short.

But we couldn’t do anything.

Finally the companies and suppliers started working again at the end of March.

Our stock almost run out.

Then I have to take care of a lot of shipments from China and Taiwan one after another 

On the other hand the government declared a state of emergency.

‘Stay home 🏡 ‘

And a week after that,

our company urges all the employees to take turns taking days off.

交代で休めと‥

To reduce the number of staffs who work in the office a day.

事務所で仕事をする人数を間引くため‥

Oh no 🙈 

無理〜

I have got lots on my plate

やること山盛り

In the end,  I took a day off last Friday unwillingly.

It doesn’t count as taking a day off.

結局、仕方なく一日だけ休んだ・・でもいろいろ気がかりな仕事が残ってたし全然休んだ気がしなかった

Our office circumstances won’t let us to work from home.

ウチの会社はテレワークの環境など整っておりませぬ

So I go to work according to the official public holiday calendar.

なので忙しい部署の人たちは、カレンダー通り会社でお仕事でございます

Oh well 😔 

Road of the bilingual; How to brush up English skill 3

Looking back, I place emphasis on words and phrases since I started studying English.

これまで単語や熟語を覚えることに重きを置いていた私。

To know a lot of them, l believed that I can be a bilingual.

たくさん覚えればバイリンガルになれると信じていた。

Thanks to the effort, 

I’m able to understand some articles, signs and breaking news on the spot.

Still it’s not good enough!

ま、おかげで英文記事や看板、ニュース速報も何のことかその場ですぐにわかるようになった。

でもそれでは足りなかった

I’m not good at translating Japanese in English, I always make some grammatical errors there.

が、しかし‥日本語から英語へ訳すと文法的に何かしら間違える。

So far I didn’t care about it, thought.

あんまり気にしてなかったけど。

Compare to that, my boss writes email in English seamlessly without any mistakes.

それに比べて上司はスラスラと英文を書く。

しかもノーミス❗️

I wonder why he can do that? 

なんで⁇

He he has enough ability with grammar like a formula.

彼は数学でいう公式のごとく、完璧に英文法をマスターしてる

I need to review it from the beginning

英文法イチからやり直し

Sentence patterns, Phrase and Clause.

基本5文型、句と節
