Let's study English together

Dear kids and parents,

How are you all? It's too hot. Isn't it?
How are you all spending your holidays. Are you playing in the water? Going swimming?

How was your Obon celebrations? Did you miss summer festivals this year. I miss celebrating many kids festival this year. It used to be so much fun!. I miss going out in the evenings during the festivals. Seeing the lights and eating delicious food. I hope everything will be normal soon.

I would like to share some of the interesting activities in my classroom. Every week it's so much fun teaching. This week we learned about some adjectives like strong-stronger, young-younger. We also tried making many sentences. A chan in one of my elementary class has shown unbelievable improvement. She is a different person in these few months. Her positive attitude towards learning English and trying to speak whatever she can, is the best in her. Without even caring if it's right or wrong, she is always trying her best.
The best part of my kids nowadays is, if they want to talk about something in the classroom or share some of the things they did at home. Before I start my lesson they try and ask me . For example if they want to talk about what did they eat, they say ''what is Sorompo in english". I try and look for it and help them translate in English saying. Oh! it's the dumplings.

Whenever they are so much opened up with me, it really makes me happy and I hope they can be more friendly with me in the future.

About me, as usual I am focused on exercising and loosing weight. I want to be healthy. I had a fun time with my family last week during the holidays. Yesterday, I went swimming with my daughter. She is learning swimming and she enjoys in the pool. She is also learning many Japanese words at the Yojien. Every morning she is so excited to meet her friends and teachers.
