今回は個人的に好きな楽曲の年間ランキングを発表したいと思います。
2022年は後半になればなるほど純粋なヘヴィメタル以外聴くことがなくなっていき、
上位はほぼパワーメタルやメロディックメタル(ハードロックも少々)となっています。


第1位 Battle Beast - Wings of Light
⇒フィンランド出身のヘヴィメタルバンド、
Battle Beastの「Wings of Light」が年間1位に輝きました。
歌メロの良いオーソドックスなヘヴィメタルで
Noora Louhimoの圧倒的な歌唱力が光っていますね。
間奏だけでなくアウトロのギターソロもポイント高いです。

第2位 Stryper - Transgressor
⇒アメリカ出身のヘヴィメタルバンド、
Stryperの「Transgressor」が2位にランクイン。
メタルゴッドばりの脅威的なハイトーンボイスを連発している痛快極まりない曲で、
マイケル・スウィートのラスボス感半端ないですね。
ツインリードの一角という感じでギターも弾くし、
これでもかというぐらいキレッキレのパフォーマンスを見せつけています。

サビの開放感が気持ちいい自分好みの明るめパワーメタルとなっています。

⇒スウェーデン出身のハードロックバンド、
H.E.A.Tの「Nationwide」が4位にランクイン。
抜群の歌メロの良さがあるハードロックで、
中盤以降のメロディックなギターリフもアツい。

⇒スウェーデン出身のヘヴィメタルバンド、
Sabatonの「Stormtroopers」が5位にランクイン。
アルバムの中でも疾走感あるパワーメタル寄りの曲で、
ヨアキムの力強く野太い歌声が熱い漢メタルを追求していた自分の好みと合致。

⇒3位に続いて6位にもVictoriusの楽曲がランクイン。
この曲もVictoriusらしい聴き心地の良さがあるパワーメタルですね。
クラシカルなメロディーのギターソロも好き。

エリクが元いたH.E.A.Tや今いるSkid Rowより
パワーメタル色が強くて方向性が好みなんですよね。
