My dearest Brethren,
I want to invite all of you to the March for Life on Sunday, July 3rd in Osaka and on Monday, July 18, which will be the Japanese national holiday of Marine Day, in Tokyo.
Human life is a gift from God. Even parents do not have the right to dispose of the life of innocent baby in the mother's womb, because they just received the life from God, to take care of it. We have the duty to protect it. God's law is clear: Thou shalt not kill.
However, in Japan, 145,340 innocent human lives were taken away in their mothers' wombs in 2020 according to the Japanese government statistics. In other words, the number of abortions performed during the year 2020 was 145,340.

Not only are there surgical interventions, but abortive pills which kill human lives. Life begins at the moment of conception. Not at the moment of implantation. The abortive pills have the effect of making mother's body so sick that fertilized egg cannot be implanted, or even if implanted, the egg would starve to death. Taking these pills is a criminal act against innocent life and against mother's wellbeing.
Official statistics show us that, in 2020, 11,058 abortions were done by mothers who were less than 20 years old. Abortion is not only against life, against the fifth Commandment of God : Thou shalt not kill. But it is also the ultimate sin against the 6th Commandment, which protects the transmission of life. Abortion is the ultimate refusal to transmit life.
This is the reason why it is so important now to remember the importance of Chastity. This angelic virtue of chastity protects the marriage, which is the proper place for transmission of life.
We want to march for life, in the name of these innocent lives and in their stead. They cannot ask for help. Our walk is their S.O.S. While marching, we will pray to God for the innocents whose lives are endangered. We ask Our Lady of Fatima to pray for the babies and for us, poor sinners.
We want to pray for the youth. Our young generations need to recognize the importance of purity and chastity. Hence the need for our prayers to Our Lady, Virgo fidelis, Virgo purissima, “Virgo paritura : the virgin that shall give birth” (by the operation of the Holy Ghost).
Let us beg the Mother of God and Our Mother, Blessed Virgin Mary, to have mercy on us.
Though our prayers during the march will be so little compared with our miseries, let us walk, trusting the powerful intercession of Our Lady.

In Osaka, we will meet you in front of Osaka City Hall, at 3 PM on Sunday, July 3rd.
In Tokyo, we will start from Tsukiji Catholic Church, at 4 PM on Monday, the Marine Day, July 18.
