気候と気温 climate and temperature
日本は温帯に属している。
現在在住している場所はUSDA Hardiness Zone8に相当する。
冬には霜が下り、時には雪が積もる。
Zone8は最低気温-6.7～-12.2℃。
年平均気温は12℃。
I live in Japan, that belong to the Temperate Zone, corresponds to USDA Hardiness Zone8.
Zone8 meaning temperature -6.7 to -12.2 centigrade.
Average temperature 12centigrade.
In winter, have a frost, sometimes snowfall, I must shelter plant from cold, frost and snow.




水 water and rain
年間降水量は1240mm。
水は水道水を使用しているが、独自の分析はしていない。
水道局のデータからpH7.7、カルシウム、マグネシウムなど30.4mg/Lと推測。
Rainfall 1240mm/year, cover a plant from the rain.
I using tap water.
The Waterworks Bureau provided assaying data, suggest pH7.7, Ca & Mg content 30.4mg/L.


土 soil
赤玉土、鹿沼土、軽石、必要に応じてゼオライトを適宜混合している。
有機質は投入していない。
There are many volcano in Japan.
Consequently, utilize volcanic range for horticulture, such as "akadamatsuti", "kanumatsuti", and pumice.
Akadamatsuti is weathered volcanic ash, made from "Kanto loam".
Kanumatsuti is weathered pumice, made from "Kanto loam" in the vicinity of Tochigi pref., Kanuma.
Pumice is spongy rock, rapid cooling lava.
I mixed them, and if necessary add the zeolite.
I'm not use organic matter, for example, humus, peat.


肥料 fertilizer
マグァンプK（株式会社ハイポネックスジャパン、N,P,K,Mg＝6,40,6,15）を使用。
必要に応じて他の肥料も使用。
I use "Magamp K"(HYPONeX JAPAN CORP.,LTD., Oosaka Japan), and if necessary add the other fertilizer or liquid fertilizer.
"Magamp K" is kind of slow release fertilizer, contained N 6%, P 40%, K 6%, Mg 15%.
