The Olympic games

There was an opening ceremony early this mornig in Greece. I watched not on a live but on a video TV broadcast this morning. It was a wonderfful and impressive one.
Now the game of ｍany kinds of sports started today. I will watch as many games as possible. 8/14

朝から夕立

昨日から雨模様ですが、今日は朝から夕立で、雷がゴロゴロ鳴り、雨も降っています。今年は、例年に比べ、雷の音を聞く回数が多いような気がします。まだまだ残暑は厳しいですが、夏の終わり、秋に向かって一雨ごとに地面が冷えて涼しくなってくるのでしょう。そういえば、夜には虫の音も聞こえてきます。もう秋はすぐそこです。
