自転車世界選手権で初「メカニカルドーピング」発覚。フレームに隠しモーター、罰金2400万円？

 ベルギーで先月３０日に開かれた自転車の国際レースで、女子選手の車体にモーターが仕込まれた疑いがあると、国際自転車競技連合（ＵＣＩ）が明らかにした。欧米などで「機械のドーピングだ」と話題になっている。

　ＡＦＰ通信などによると、不正をしたとされるのは、２３歳以下のオフロードレース大会に出場したベルギーの女子選手（１９）。車体のトラブルで途中棄権 したが、その後の車体検査で不正の疑いが持ち上がった。ベルギーメディアは、サドルを支える軸に電気ケーブルが隠され、ペダル付近に小型のモーターがあっ たと報じている。

　女子選手はメディアに対し「あれは私の自転車ではなく友人のものだ。何かの間違いだ」と涙を流して訴えているという。
