Whether the future has been decided?

It is a story of "Lost in the fog."

There is a memories talk about "Destiny and Fate"that has been spoken by Bapak.

Both are the "future of things"but Bapak said "They are different things."

Well, let's listen.

Pak Subuh once spoke to me about the difference between Destiny and Fate.
He said, ‘Most people think that Destiny and Fate are the same thing.
They are not.’
He said, ‘This is the line of destiny, this is the line of fate.
Destiny is God’s will for each one of us;
everything we need, the line of destiny brings to us.
But fate is the line on which we live, subject to all the lower forces.
So the line of destiny represents what should happen to us and could happen to us,
and the line of fate represents what does happen to us.
On the line of fate we are demanding this,we are wanting this and that, and we quarrel with one another.
Thus we put a fog in front of us with our passions.
And so the postman who is bringing these packages that you need cannot find his way to you.
These packages contain everything you need.
You need a good house to live in . that is a package.
You need a good husband or wife . that is a package.
But because of the way we are with all our ambitions and our quarrelling,
these packages have got lost.’
‘So what do you do about it?’ Bapak said.
‘You must thin down,
you must reduce this fog by doing the latihan and by prihatin (selfabnegation).
Then the postman can find his way to you.’

Is it "destiny" that come out as an answer in the test?

Or would "fate"?

Latihan for all mankind

You do not give unnecessary confusion.

You do not bother other people.

Then, if you wish to Latihan, you can participate in the Latihan.

So,that is ideal.


Your thoughts and beliefs and religion should not be obstacle when you want to participate in the Latihan.

Those things are all personal freedom.

Generally, "such a thing will be obstacle of the Latihan."

Some advice can be here.

But whether or not to accept it ,that is up to you.


And if we agree that Latihan is not religion,then we don't need the confession of the faith.

The oath may be a "Seriously Ｉ will practice the Latihan" ,even if we need it.

All other requests will be obstacle to narrow the entrance of the Latihan.

So we does not narrow the entrance of the Latihan.

So we can finally say "Latihan for all mankind."

About two years time has passed.

But, there is no change to the basic recognition.

And I may add one thing.

It is that "description of the Latihan of Bapak you are listening."

To hear it, you would like to participate in the Latihan convinced yourself.

You can participate in Latihan if so.


If Latihan does not spread, Latihan will be disappear from the earth in the near future .

However, it is not our desire.

But, as Bapak stated just now, Bapak does not say that his receiving for mankind is a religion; he only says it is for mankind.
The truth is, brothers and sisters, what Bapak has received is not for a certain group of people, nor is it for one nation, nor is it for a particular way.
It is truly for the whole of mankind, and mankind comprises people who belong to the various different religions.
And the fact is, after Bapak had received and followed the latihan kejiwaan, people of different races and religions were also able to receive it.

Bapak wishes to make it clear, brothers and sisters, that Subud can be a vessel for the whole of humanity to worship God through their respective religions, for the latihan kejiwaan is the means of putting into practice all that man has been given.
Bapak is not saying this to show off the good things that are in Subud.
Not at all.
It is the truth.
Many people acknowledge that this latihan kejiwaan of Subud reveals the reality.
In the Subud latihan, one is quite free to say: 'Allah', 'God', or 'Maha Dewa', 'Maha Yoga' and so on, because none of these names can transcend the Power of God.
They are all enveloped by the essence of the Power of Almighty God, or, as is said in Islam, by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

This is why in Subud there is no force or no strict rules - everything is left to the will of each individual.
In the other religions what has always happened in the past, like Islam, is that they force people to become Muslims, and they even kill people who don't want to be Muslims.
And the Christians do the same, and the Buddhists also.
But in Subud there is nothing like that - it is left to the will of the person.
