LET IT BEの訳詩を読むとLet it beは聖母マリアが告げる知恵ある言葉であり、苦難の時、無理に状況を変えようとしないで、「あるがままに」状況を堪え忍ぼうと言っている。そして離ればなれになった人にも再会できることもあるだろうと、希望を語っている。
一方、「On The Road」は劣等感を克服しながら、成長して行く青年の物語である。コージは両親がリビングでかけていたビートルズのＣＤでこの曲のフレーズLet it beをレリビーと聞き覚え、いつしか自らを鼓舞するおまじないとして繰り返している。詩の内容を理解すると、コージのおまじないとして繰り返す行為も、いったん別れた初恋の人あずさと再会するのも、正しく詩の内容とマッチしていることかわかる。
