今回も小ネタ（しつこい）
イスラエルの極右（という表現すら生ぬるい気がする）政党の1つである国家統一党（National Union：האיחוד הלאומי） が、「（ヨルダン川西岸地区での）入植地の住宅建設を義務化する」法案を Knesset に提出するなんて述べていた模様。

元々、National Union は対パレスチナ政策について強硬な主張を行ってるんだよな。
当然、西岸地区の入植地の外にある「違法」な（無論、パレスチナの人達を追放して建設された）建築物を撤去することにすら反対してるのよね。
実際、 Benyamin NETANYAHU イスラエル首相がそうした建築物の撤去を行う方針を打ち出した直後に、連立政権から離脱するなんて言い出してるし。

で、件の法案。
仮に成立すれば、Kiryat Arba など10か所の入植地で毎年住宅建設が義務化されるという。
が、NETANYAHU 首相率いる Likud などは反対する姿勢を見せてるので、Knesset に提出されても否決される公算は高いっぺぇ。
もっとも、National Union にしてみれば、これを出す目的は、成立するかどうかでなく、NETANYAHU 首相を非難するいう意味合いが強い模様。

Netanyahu’s term does not expire until October 2013.
But his opponents on the Right have put in place a strategy to propose legislation that is unlikely to pass, but that creates a voting record on issues that will be part of the next national poll.
In the next election, the source said, these same ministers will have to explain to their right-wing constituencies why they did not support this kind of legislation.

NETANYAHU 首相がこれに賛同しないのは、国外からの（イスラエルに対する）非難を避けたいという狙いもあるかと。
ただ、National Union などガチガチの右曲りの人達にしてみたら、「国外からの圧力に屈するとは何事だ」という心境なんだろうが。
なにせ、米国が本気でイスラエルの入植地建設や拡大を非難することはないし、ね・・・。
（当然、NETANYAHU 首相などは、入植地建設や拡大で追放されるパレスチナの人達の存在なんて頭にないんだろう）
しかし、この法案に関して、National Union の Ya’acov Katz 代表は、“We are not talking about unlimited construction, we are talking about building to accommodate for the natural growth of these communities,” なんて言ってるんだよな。
そもそも、"natural growth"（自然増） ってのは、イスラエル政府が入植地での住宅建設を行う口実として散々使われてるのだが・・・。

Knesset で議論されてた「外国の団体から資金援助を受けてる NGO とかの活動を制限する」法案について、NETANYAHU 首相が提出を見送るなんて話が・・・。
