Unfortunately, I cannot contact you with good news today: After having
reviewed your application and conducted the interview, we regret to have to
inform you that we have decided to turn down your application due to
insufficient level of English comprehension.
There were some initial question marks regarding the relation between your
training and work experience that were resolved; however, we found your
English skills to be insufficient for an 18-month training in the United States.
Even though we think that you have the professional qualification for your
training field and that you would have been well-integrated into corporate
culture at your host company, the J1 visa regulations require participants
to have basic conversational English skills.
We would like to ensure that training programs are a successful experience
for both the host company and our participants, and language barriers do
represent a problem with regard to staying and working in the United States
for such an extended time period and may easily lead to frustration.
Also, we felt that you might have troubles to pass an English interview at
the US embassy.
Please understand that we do not doubt your professional qualifications
otherwise, but that we as a sponsor need to ensure applications comply with
J1 visa regulations as set forth by the US Department of State. We will be
happy to accept your application at a later point in time, when you have
acquired better English skills.
We will cancel your visa application but nevertheless wish you all the best
for your future career!
If you have any questions regarding your application or J1 visa regulations
still, please do not hesitate to contact me.
参考になれば幸いです。:)
