1987 年リリースの2nd。Yngwie J. Malmsteenの影響下にあるネオクラシカルと呼ばれるギターリストとは一線を画す存在でした。悟兄先生はもの凄く早く弾く訳ではありませんが、ギ ターを制御するのに長けているのだと思います。"Hill of the Skull"はKing Crimsonに影響されて作った曲だそうですが、"The Court of the Crimson King"と"Starless"を足して割ったような曲です(！？)。"Always with Me, Always with You"のようなイージリスニングの様な曲もありますが、テクニック満載の"Surfing with the Alien"、"Circles"、"Lords of Karma"、難しくて見事なタッピングの"Midnight"、そしてなんといっても集大成の"Satch Boogie"でしょう。Edward Van Halenも真っ青です。
