ギネスタワー２階・・・ここではギネスの広告の歴史が解説されている。
昔のギネスポスターやコマーシャルが見れたり、販促グッツ？が展示されている。

その中に発見した「GENIUS」・・・「PURE GENIUS」・・・ギネス好きなら誰もが納得する名前。

The story of how this idea came about is advertising legend.

Apparently, the two people responsible for it were booked into
a hotel and told that they weren't allowed out until they had
come up with a winning concept.

One day later - nothing.

Two days later - nothing.


Three days later, at 1 o'clock in the morning, one of the wrote
the word 'genius' on a scrap of paper.

Pure genius.

It just goes to prove what GUINNESS drinkers around the world
have always known - that good things come to those who wait.
