方便品第二（その２８）

諸々の仏が立てた根本の誓願
The fundamental vows of all Buddhas
私が所持し実践する仏道
The Buddha path I practice
広く衆生を導こうとして
Widely desire to guide all beings
また同じくこの道を得る
Also equally attain this path
未来の諸々の仏
The many Buddhas of future worlds
たとえ百千億回説いたとしても
Even if explained a hundred thousand times
無数の法門
Countless Dharma gates
その実は一乗のためである
In reality, it is one vehicle
諸々の仏、両足の世尊
Various Buddhas, the Two-Legged Honored Ones
法が常に無性である～を知る
Knowing that the Dharma has no fixed nature
仏の種は縁から起きる
The Buddha-seed arises from conditions
これゆえに一乗を説く
Therefore, the One Vehicle is taught
この法は法の位置に住する
This Dharma abides in the Dharma position
世間の相（姿）は常に住する
The appearances of the world abide forever
道場においてすでに知る
Having already known in the place of practice
導師は方便をもって説く
The teacher expounds skillful means


天人が供養するところ
Honored by celestial and human beings
現れる存在、十方の仏
The Buddhas currently in the ten directions
その数は恒河（ガンジス川）の砂のように多い
Their number is as numerous as the Ganges' sands
世間に出現する
Appearing in the world
衆生を安穏にするため
For the peace of all beings
またこのような法を説く
Also preach such a Dharma
第一の寂滅（弱々しい滅、不確かな滅）を知る
Knowing the supreme tranquility
方便の力によってのゆえに
Due to the power of skillful means
たとえ様々な道を示したとしても
Even if various paths are shown
その実は仏乗のためである
In reality, it is the Buddha vehicle
諸々の衆生の行い～を知る
Knowing the actions of various beings
深く所持する念の心
The deep thoughts of the mind
過去に所習した業（カルマ）
The past habits and karma
欲の性質と精進（知恵に裏づいた努力）の力
The power of desire and diligence
及び諸々の根の鋭さ鈍さ
The sharpness or dullness of faculties
種々の因縁、～によって
Through various causes and conditions
たとえや言葉
Metaphors and words
応じに随って方便をもって説く
Teach expediently according to needs
