ま、W.Bush 大統領にしてみれば片手間で Abbas 議長と会談したんだろうが・・・。

懲りずに、と書いたのは、この2人にパレスチナ問題の解決を進めるだけの力もやる気も無いのに、パレスチナ問題の解決を進める姿勢を見せている、と俺には見えたからだ。
実際、W.Bush 大統領と Abbas 議長が行った会談後記者会見でも、当事者にもかかわらずどこか他人事のような口調だった。

意地の悪い書き方をすれば、Abbas 議長の地位を2008年末以降も保証してもらう、という意味なんだろうな。
この際、パレスチナの人達の扱いが適当になるのは言うまでも無いが・・・。
なんたって、Abbas 議長にしろ晩年の故 Arafat 氏といい、パレスチナの人達の事を考えるより自分の権力を守ることに熱心になるんだろう？
本当の意味でパレスチナの人達を代表する存在じゃないから（2006年の総選挙後に Abbas 議長が取った行動はその一端かと）、躍起になって権力維持に走るのかな？
その結果として酷い目に遭うのは、たいてい普通に暮らしているパレスチナの人々だったりするんだよな・・・。
ってか、Abbas 議長には、いい加減 Hamas との内輪もめをやめて欲しいところだわな。
