イスラエルによる Gaza 地区封鎖に抗議するため Gaza 地区に向かう予定の抗議船団は、今月後半の出港を目指して色々準備してきた。
（しかし、結局間に合わなかった模様・・・）
そんな中、ある男性（Marc というアカウント名）が「抗議船団に参加するつもりだったのに、同性愛者であることを理由に参加を断られた」なんて発言をした映像が公開されていたが・・・。

メガネ歪みねぇな。
背景にあるボードに『END』というステッカーが妙に印象に残った、ってのが正直な感想・・・。
しかし、この映像、当初から内容に疑問が付けられていた。
で、最初に紹介した記事を書いた Benjamin DOHERTY 氏や Max Blumenthal 氏、それから Ali ABUNIMAH 氏などがこの映像について調べたら、何気にヤバい事実が発覚した。
まず、問題の映像に登場していた人物だが、俳優の Omer Gershon（עומר גרשון）氏である可能性が高いとのこと。

眉毛の形といい鼻の形といい頭のハゲ方といい、walla.co.il に掲載された Gershon 氏と酷似している。
単に、同じ顔をした別人、という可能性も排除できないが・・・。
が、問題の映像へのリンクが、よりによってイスラエル政府広報局（ Israeli Government Press Office）の Twitter 公式アカウント上で貼られてたという事実も浮かび上がってきた。
ただし、現在イスラエル内閣広報局の twitter アカウントは消滅しているが・・・。

問題の映像制作への関与について肯定も否定もしないのは、後日この件で追及されるのを避けるための（唯一取りうる）回答だな。
なんせ、イスラエル政府が映像制作に関与してたにも関わらずそれを否定した場合、色んな意味で大変な事態になるし。
仮に嘘でも肯定すれば、「イスラエル政府がプロパガンダ映像を作成した」という非難が飛んでくるのは必至だし。
その意味では、巧妙に言い逃れたという言うべきか・・・。
