A happy new year, everyone!
年末年始も我が家は特にいつもと変りない日々．．．
今年は比較的暖かくて雪がないけど
夜に降った雨のせいでグラウンドは少々汚れ気味．．．
The end of the year or the day of new year,
our life is just AS USUAL...
Well, we have somewhat warmer weather here
so we don't have any snow this time but then
because of the rain at the middle of the night
our ground is a bit muddy this morning...

身体が大きくなってきたせいか、最近はセスがよくレトの相手をして遊んでくれてる

Leto is eager to get whatever she can eat ALL THE TIME!
でっかいセスにはまだまだ追いつかないけど
レトは女の子の中では大きくなる可能性あるかも
Compare to the big daddy Seth, Leto looks small but
I think she can grow bigger than any girls here in near future!
あ～、体重ではおデブのアデルには追い付かないよう気をつけねば…
Oh, I have to be careful not to make Leto be like the heaviest Adelle among the girls...

いつもは、写真加工するんですが
今年は新しいパソコンにまだ編集ソフトを入れてなくて
それができず…
写真も結局スマホで適当に撮ったものですが…

but my new PC doesn't have software yet...

老齢１２歳のトレニアは
それまで普通に元気に過ごしていたのに
12月30日から急に調子を崩してしまい
ちょっとぐったり気味ですが
他の子達はみんなそれなりに
元気に過ごしています☆
12 years old Torenia was super fine
till December 30th...
But all of a sudden,
(seemed with no reason)
got vomiting and diarrhea...
So, she seems very quiet now
but otherwise
all of us are doing good.

2020年の1月のエマの永眠から
2月にはシャル、5月にエルザ、
そして１１月にはジョシュアが旅立ち、
気分的にもダウンしている中、
世の中は新型コロナウィルスによるパンデミック…
ブログ投稿する気分にもなれなかったわけですが、
さすがにそろそろ近況報告しないと！
と思い、年始の挨拶PHOTOをアップしてます☆
頭数もかなり少なくなってしまいましたが
みんな元気に過ごしていますよ♪
色々あるけど、
今年はみんなが少しでも
幸せを感じることができるように
心から願ってます☆

I know, I know...
I totally ignored this blog over a year now
but it was kind of too much to write anything for a long time...
Since Emma's death,
2020 was hard for me coz
Shall died in February,
Elsa in May,
and Joshua died in November.
Then the pandemic hit our whole world...
Yeah, not much motivation to write, right?!
WELL...
But now, I think it's high time
to finally update this blog
and tell you all my boys and girls are doing fine
though the number had dramatically decreased...
Anyway,
I am hoping and wishin',
everyone will feel some happiness
even in a small amount this year!
老齢のシャルとエマの写真が入ってないけど…
もうすぐ16歳のシャル、
12歳半のエマ、
室内でず～っと過ごしているけど
それなりに元気にしてます☆
Well...
I couldn't take good photos of old Shall and Emma
so I couldn't put them in the photo...
But, almost 16 years old Shall
and 12 years and half old Emma
are doing all right, considering their ages.
A new year of 2019,
we are all wishing you a great year ahead of you!
我が家の子達全員の小さい頃の写真を一つに集めてみました☆
（でも見る分にはごちゃごちゃしすぎかな．．．?!）
I put all my kids' photos of their puppy phase in one this year!
(Hmm... but I guess it's too occupied to look at, huh?!)
我知らぬ間に、
時間はとっとと過ぎ去り．．．
結局ブログ更新が今になってしまいました．．．
とにかく、年始から考えると
2月4日にジルの10歳の誕生日
3月27日にシャルの11歳の誕生日
5月9日にエレノアとエルザの3歳の誕生日
5月24日にヴァイオラの9歳の誕生日
6月15日にトレニアとジョシュアの5歳の誕生日
そして昨日の6月20日にエマとバーティミアスの8歳の誕生日
があったんです。
もちろん、そのたびに
誕生日ケーキを焼き．．．
あ、いやシャルとヴァイオラの誕生日の時は
結局焼けず終いで代わりに牛ジャーキーをたっぷり食べたので
ケーキよりは嬉しかったかも？？？
エレノアとエルザの誕生日の日にはミシェールが遊びに来てくれたので
なんと3個もチーズケーキを焼き（妹に脅されて焼く羽目になった）
人間もボルゾイ達もたらふく？食べたんですが、
まぁ、その様子は気が向いたらそのうちに写真アップしときます☆
（ミシェール家のブログにはすでにアップ済み☆）
とにかく、どんなにがんばっても
人間と犬達がある程度満足するまで
誕生日ケーキを食べようと思うと
誕生日が来るたびに2個はケーキを焼かないといけないわけで．．．
私のベーキングスキルアップは必然的
久しぶりにアップするんだから
さっさとみんなの写真を見せろと思われそうですが．．．
なんと、とうとう私のNikonデジタル一眼レフの本体が壊れ．．．
写真はなし．．．
というのは冗談ですが、デジタル一眼レフが壊れたのは本当．．．
とにかく急いで小さいコンパクトデジカメを購入～
えっ
スマホを持っていると
カメラなんて必要ないって？！
いやいや．．．
スマホなんて高尚なものは我が家にはない
田舎のおじいちゃんおばあちゃんまっしぐらな生活をしている私にとって
スマホなんて必要な～い
ん？扱いきれないからじゃないかって？．．．
そ、それもある．．．か．．．も．．．？！
雑談はさておき、
エマとバーティミアスの誕生日にケーキを2個焼いたものの
昨夜は疲れきってしまい、みんなに食べさせてあげる前に就寝だった私．．．
今朝、新しいカメラが届いたところで
やっとみんなはケーキにありつける事ができたのでした
エマとバーティミアスの誕生日だったので、
写真は代表のエマとバーティが食べてるとこだけ☆
You know, it's been quite a while since I wrote here last time
and there are lots of birthdays since then...
In any case, I didn't forget to bake their birthday cakes...
Oh, except when it was Shall's birthday...
and Viola's birthday...
though they did get lots and lots of beef jerkey instead of cakes...
so, I guess they were still happy all right.
Anyway, I did bake lots of cakes when it was Elinor and Elsa's birthday,
(which was 9th of May)
since Michelle came to visit us on that day.
So, to celebrate together with many peaple to share the cakes,
I baked 3 cheesecakes that day.
Maybe I will upload some photos later on.
Now, we have Joshua and Torenia's birthday on 15th of June
and I couldn't bake their cake on that day but I did bake 2 cakes on 17th.
Then, yesterday, it was Emma and Bartimaeus's birthday
and again baked 2 cakes, one for doggies and one for human.
But unfortunately for our Borzois,
I was too tired to give them any piece last night
so they had to wait till this morning to get their cake!

Well, I thought I'd show you some old photos
but then it was such a troublesome to search nice ones since ... what February?!
So, just took some with my new camera
(yeah, big old one had just died and got the new small one)
and show you those.

座るだけしかできない．．．
Elsa was also waiting to get her piece
but she doens't have any trick to show...just sitting patiently.
年老いたシャルですが
今も昔も見た目は変わらず
Shall's getting old but for him
looks doesn't change much.
2代目ボスとしてしっかり役割を把握し始めたジョシュア、
みんなの面倒をよく見てくれます
Now Joshua behaves like our Borzoi pack sub-leader under me
and takes care of others well.
すっかり顔のブラックマスクが抜けてしまったおばあちゃんジル．．．
でも食欲だけは衰えないかな．．．
Old Jill...Her black mask's completely gone now and looks quite different,
but her appetite has never ever changed.
5歳だけれど、エレノアとエルザに追い抜かれて
今は一番体が小さいトレニア．．．
血統的には大きくなっても良いはずなのにね．．．
Torenia became our smallest Borzoi now
since Elinor and Elsa grew big...
Hmm, with her bloodline, I hoped she would become HUGE...
今も昔も変わらないヴァイオラ
いつになっても私達を驚かせるスキルがあるんですわ～
Same all same old, Viola...
No matter how old she gets,
she still has many surprising skills to impress us!
