もしかして、わが地方の今年の初雪?!
薄っすらと積もりました
Mmm, this might be the first snow this year
in my area???
バラの咲く前庭にしようと
がんばって作っている花壇のバラやヴィオラが
雪で覆われてしまいました
I've decided to make my front yard with lots of roses
and planted several of roses and violas
but now those were covered by snow a bit.
でももちろん、ボルゾイ達にとっては超HAPPYなサプライズ～
But for my kids, the snow is the great happy surprise~!
超興奮して喜び勇んで駆け回ります
Sure! Super excited and having so muh fun running and running around!
ちょっと休憩して雪を食べ．．．
When they take a rest, they eat snow...
ジョシュア： 「あ～、ちべたくておいし
」
Joshua: "Oh~~ coool and tasty!"
トレニアもできるだけ綺麗な雪を見つけて食べてます
Toreni tried to find the clean snow and eat it, too!
エルザは．．．食べなくてもOK？？？
And Elsa... mmm no eating snow???
ヴァイオラはまずは大好きな氷から食べます
For Viola, she first attacks her FAVORITE ice!
と、氷の後はやっぱり雪も？？？
OH, Viola has to eat snow as well after ice?!
ヴァイオラ： 「ん．．．？」
Viola: "Hmm...???"
ヴァイオラ： 「氷も雪も美味しいよ～
」
Viola: "BOTH ice and snow are tasty for me, mommy Chie!"
Chie： 「あ、そう．．．お腹壊さないように食べなね．．．
」
Chie: "Oh... ok... Try not to eat toooo much, my love..."
積もったけれども、
お日様のおかげであっという間に解けてしまった
わが地方の初雪でした☆
Oh well, it was the first snow of this year
but it melted away quickly enough.
我が家のかかりつけの腕の良い獣医さんのところで避妊手術の為、
今日からアイリーンが１週間ほどお泊り～
いつも役立つ
ジョシュアと一緒に蒜山までアイリーンをお迎え
でもあいにくの雨の為、外で遊ぶことができず
そのまま車に乗って帰宅．．．
Irene will stay with us about a week
as she'll have her spay op by our trusting vet.
So I took Joshua to pick Irene up at Hiruzen
which is about an hour and half drive from here.
But unfortunately, it was heavily raining and wasn't able to play outside...
And we had to come straight home.
帰ってきたらまずは兄弟姉妹で大暴れ
After we got home,
siblings know each other and over-joyed soooo much...
I mean, too much...
アイリーン．．．そんな狭いイスに座らなくても．．．
Um, Irene... wasn't that chair too small for you???
でも、なんだか上手くはまり込んでます
But she got herself in quite well...
とにかく、現在アイリーンはヒート中．．．
ジョシュアはアイリーンママから「アイリーンを守ってね
」と頼まれているので．．．
You see, Irene is in mating season and with our males...
Well, Irene's owner had asked Joshua to protect her well while she's with us, right?!
SO...
たとえ、自分の父親だろうとアイリーンに近づくことは許しません
Joshua wouldn't allow even his dad to approach Irene!
ジョシュアの強い態度にデューク退散
Joshua has more strong mind to protect her than Duke trying to check Irene,
so Duke went away...
アイリーン： 「でもあたし、この状態だと動けない．．．
」
Irene: "But... I cannot move with him like this..."
でもすぐにデュークが．．．
と、またまたジョシュアがこわ～～～い目で睨みをきかせてます
But Duke wasn't away too long...

ま、デュークもアイリーンのお父さんだから
挨拶くらいはしたいよね
Well, Duke is Irene's daddy, too!
So, at least he wanted to greet her, right?!
でも、（写真はないんですが）アイリーンが一番再会を喜んでいたのは
姉妹のトレニアかな～
なんせ、トレニアとアイリーンはテンションがそっくり同じ
姉妹はとことん気が合うのでしょうね～
You know who was the one Irene enjoyed the most to see again???
It was Torenia, her only sister!
As I watched them carefully, I found out that
sisters energy level and joyful characters are exactly the same!
No wonder sisters love each other so much!
アイリーン： 「しまねのパパとママ、あたしお行儀よくしてるから心配しないでね」
Irene: "Dear mommy and daddy at home, I'm doing good, so don't worry, OK?"
朝からあいにくの雨
ただでさえ暇を持て余しているのに
まったく外に出られないとなるとどんなことになるやら
というわけで．．．
大人達にパピーお披露目～
It's been raining all day since quite early in the morning
and that means my doggies cannot go out at all...
Well, they have been too dull and neglected since puppies were born
and since they have nothing to do today...
I've decided to let them see the puppies!
初めてのパピー達にトレニアもジョシュアも興味津々
For Torenia and Joshua, these puppies are their first to meet!
シャルは相変わらず小さいのはどうしてよいか分からないので苦手．．．
Well, Shall as usual doesn't care much about puppies
coz he doesn't know what to do with them...
デュークとバーティミアスはエマに怒られているので遠巻きに．．．
Duke and Bartimaeus are sensitive to Emma's anger,
so staying low...
♀達はやはりパピーはかなり気になるようです
Females are defintely wanting to see them in person for sure!
もちろん、ジョシュアも
母方の血がこのあたりは良く受け継がれているようで
保父さんしたくてたまらない
Surely, Joshua must love them!
I guess he's got blood of her mother line
and simply loving small and dainty puppies
前回のエマのパピー達にはまったく興味を示さなかったヴァイオラですが、
今回は自分の血とかなり近いからか？（甥っ子・姪っ子にあたります）
とにかくまたまた自分が育てたい勢いです
You know, Viola didn't like previous Emma's puppies at all
but this time, maybe because they are her nieces and nephew,
she really really wants to nurse them as her own!
ジョシュア： 「ぼくも中に入りたいなぁ～～～」
Joshua: "Please, plea~se, let me in..."
トレニア： 「あたしはあれをチェックしたい
」
Torenia: "I want to check them thoroughly!"
なんと、ヴァイオラさん
母親の顔してます
I may not got the right moment to take her photo but
she looks as though she is their mother!
ジルはエマに怒られるので遠くから．．．
Jill stays away since Emma get angry when she gets near her pups...
ヴァ．．．ヴァイオラ．．．
Um... Viola...?!
ヴァイオラ： 「あたしも子育てできるの．．．」
Viola: "I can nurse them well, you know..."

ヴァイオラ、その鼻は何．．．
Oh dear Viola... you nose... your nose...!
とにかく、パピーお披露目はしたんですが
エマの警戒警報は発動しっぱなしで緊張しているので
母体にも良くありません
やはり1週間ではまだ早いですね．．．
Anyway, I let them meet new born puppies
but Emma was so alert and angry and tense all the time
and that's not a good sign...
Well, only a week old and tt was too soon to show them, I guess...
ジョシュア： 「でも、ぼく達、あれ大好きなんだ～ 早く欲しいな」
Joshua: "We love them all! And we want them soon!"
超嬉しい・楽しい棒タラ祭り～
Today, we ALL got YUMMY~ ENJOYIN' DRIED CODFISH!
まずはジョシュアは喜びの舞をしてました
Joshua was dancing the joyful codfish dance first!
絶対に汚れたものは食べないデュークは
椅子の上に置いて．．．
You see, Duke Never ever eat anything dirty on the ground
so put it on the chair...
エマは大口開けて．．．
Oh Emma knows how to eat with her BIG mouth!
結構不器用なジルはチマチマと．．．
Clumsy Jill eats bits by bits...
ヴァイオラは一番に誰にも邪魔をされないところへさっさと行ってひたすらモグモグ
Viola was the quickest of them all!
Went where no one can touch her and ate and ate without stopping!
バーティミアスも意外と不器用．．．
でも立ったままで上手に食べてました
You know, Bartimaeus is like her mother Jill, a bit clumsy
but somehow, he was eating it little by little.
シャルはお魚が大好物
Fish is Shall's favorite!
上手に時間をかけてゆっくり堪能
With his skills, ate his fish slowly to his heart's content!
ほらねっ．．． ヴァイオラはみんなよりも先に終わってしまって
物足りない顔～．．．
というよりも、超早すぎだって．．．
SEE??? Viola had finished her fish already and seemed to get from others...
Hmm, Viola was TOOO fast, I guess...

Hm... Duke always has to check his boys who come to our house if they becomes too cheeky!

Oh, even his mother Viola has to check him well.

They are definitely a father and a son!

Look! Earl loves to sit on people especially to his owner, TOO!
こうやってみると、毛並みはジョシュアよりもアールの方が良いみたい
When I looked at this, I realized that Earl's coat is much longer than Joshua's!
体もアールの方がジョシュアよりもちょっぴり大きくなってる感じ
Even Earl's body size is slightly bigger than Joshua.
でも、遊び心はやっぱりまだまだお子ちゃま
トレニアがちょっかい出すと．．．
But then, they are still kids at heart, right?!

Well, siblings are totally satisfied having fun together, today.
As you can see.... Oops, behind my lovely Bartimaeus, Carl came to visit us today~!
見ての通り．．．って、バーティミアスの後ろですが．．．
カールが遊びに来てくれました～♪
Yup, as always when Carl came, Viola was soooo eager to say hello to him...
はい、ここのところカールが来るといつもの事ですが
ヴァイオラの熱烈な挨拶にカールタジタジ～
You know, when a woman gets to the certain age, I guess she prefers the young ones...
well, except her Duke, of course...
But the young one prefers...
熟女のヴァイオラはやはり若い子が好きなようで．．．
もちろんデューク様は別☆
でも若いカールは．．．
the same age group... well, at least Carl does...
同い年のエマの方がよろしいようで．．．
But Emma and Carl are brother and sister!

といっても、エマとカールは姉弟なので
気が合うのは当然か．．．
Well, Emma seemed didn't want to play
but you see, Bartimaeus was the one who wanted to run around together with siblings!
でもエマはどうも遊ぶつもりはないようですが．．．
なんとバーティミアスのほうが遊ぶ気満々
And with Viola joined him, for Carl, it was too much...maybe?!
そしてヴァイオラも加わると、カールちと逃げ腰～
SEE?! Carl was hiding from Viola!
カール、ヴァイオラから隠れてます．．．！
Well, Carl had to go home earlier today
and so it was time to go...
But since he usually stays longer, right?!
He didn't want to go back!
さて、今日はいつもよりも用事があるので早く帰らないといけないカール．．．
でも．．．いつもはもっと一緒に遊んでいるので
そんなにすぐに帰りたくない？？？
Then... Viola approached...
とその時ヴァイオラがやってきて．．．
and insisted on getting into the car with him...!
私も車に一緒に乗ってあげるわ～と主張～
Of course, Carl insisted on getting in the car BY HIMSELF!
もちろん、カールは自分だけ車に乗ると主張しましたけどね～
But then in the car it was too hot for Carl...
and tried to get out of his car through the open window!!!
Surely, his owner told him to get in!!!
でも、車の中は焼け付く暑さ？！
カール窓から外へ出ようとしてたら、カールママに怒られてしまいました
Now, after Carl's gone,
it's time for others to join in the outside fun!
さて、カールが帰っていった後は
室内で待機中の連中も外へ～♪
Well, we still cannot trust Joshua, right?!
He has to be on leash even within our ground...
はい、ジョシュアはまだまだ信用できません！
敷地内でもお縄頂戴状態．．．
You know by now how Joshua admires his daddy Duke!
ジョシュアはパパのデュークを崇拝しています！
Joshua: "Dad, I'm a good boy, am I not?!"
Duke: "What?!"
ジョシュア： 「パパ、ぼく良い子だよね？！」
デューク： 「何？！」
Duke: "If you are a good boy, what's around your neck?!"
Joshua: "Umm... that is... not... my... fault.... maybe...?"
デューク： 「良い子なら、その首の周りについてるものは何だね？！」
ジョシュア： 「そ、それは．．．ぼ、ぼくのせいじゃ．．．ない．．．と思うんだけど．．．」

今日はカールが来てくれました♪
Today, Carl came to visit us!
そう．．．
先日、アールが来てくれた時に
ジョシュアが逃亡しないようにと斜面をあがったところに逃亡防止柵をつくり
これでジョシュアはもう逃亡しないだろうと思っていたんです
が．．．
次の日には、ホップ・ステップと２段飛びでなんと軽々と柵越え～
はい、田植えはもうすでに済んでいるところも多々．．．
というわけで
ジョシュアの自由は完全に×
常時お縄頂戴の状態のジョシュアです
カールが遊びに来てくれた今日も．．．
But you know what...
When Earl came here the other day,
I made a net wall above the slope to prevent Joshua to escape, right?!
I thought that would stop him for sure!
But I was wrong...
The next day after Earl came, Joshua easily jumped up with 2 steps
and went over that net wall and escape!
See, around here, there're lots of rice fields and planting were almost finished everywhere...
And guess what, Joshua simply loves to have fun in the muddy rice fields...
which would put us in a BIG trouble if Joshua made a mess in the planted rice fields...
SO, it's a pity but Joshua cannot be allowed to be free at all time...
And even when Carl came to visit us, surely there's no exception!

追いかけるのは好きでも追いかけられるのはあまり好きではないカール、

You see, Carl loves to chase someone but not at all like to be chased...
So after a little while...
前庭へ逃げて一休み～
He ran away to the front yard and rested by himself!
でも、舌が出たまま寝ころんだので
泥がついちゃいました
Oops, he was too tired to take his toungue in and slept...

お疲れカールで暗くなってきたので
帰途につくこととなったのでした☆
It was getting dark and Carl was tired, right?
So they went home after that...
We had a special visitor today~!

But then Earl likes Shall, too!

I guess maybe because Shall's body size which is much much smaller than Borzois!

His papa came to cheer him up!

So Viola decided to have fun with him and started to play...
それなら遊んであげるわと言ってか言わずか、ヴァイオラと遊び始めると．．．
Oh my... Earl slipped and fell...

You know, I always think when I observe Joshua's behavior
that Viola's babies are sometimes a bit clumsy
and that clumsiness make them look sooo cute!

ヴァイオラの子供達ってどこか抜けてるところがあって可愛いんですよね～．．．

We had wonderful visitors today!

Baby Jane and Charles came back to stay over for the night!
島根のベイビィとチャールズの一泊お里帰り
Oops, Charles got a bit too intimidated by his mother checking him...
おぉっと．．．チャールズ、エマママに厳しい目でチェックされてドキドキ．．．ジョジョ．．．
I thought it would be a good oppotunity to have a nice greeting for kids,
and so Joshua and Torenia went to greet them first!

Joshua loves to play and have fun, so he simply loves to have any companies to play with!

ジョシュア： 「チャ～ルズ兄、こっちあがってきて遊ぼうよぉ～！」

And when they had fun for a while without the boss Duke...
そして、ボスのデュークのいない間に思う存分楽しんだ後は．．．

Well, Charles grew bigger than his grandpa Duke by now...!
体はおじいちゃんのデュークよりもすでに大きくなってるチャールズ！
But then Duke is the boss among doggies IN our ground, right?!
でも、我が家の土地ではデュークは犬達の中では一番強い！
Charles was checked by him thoroughly...
チャールズは徹底的にチェックされ．．．
Duke: "Well, he's a good boy all right."
デューク： 「よしっ、彼は合格です！」
Anyway, we had quite a fun with 2 addition among us wildies for a long time
and thus, we slept well...
ま、ベイビィ・ジェーンとチャールズも混じって
長い間しっかり遊び
夜もしっかり眠れたのでした
