今朝は寒くなるとは言っていましたが
ここまで寒いとは．．．！
They said it would be very cold this morning
but I didn't expect to be this much...
はい、R&B双子は大人達が出てくるのを期待のまなざしで待ってます
Yes, R&B twins are waiting for adults to come out!
来た～
Here they come~!
と、あら？？？
Um... that's it???
もちろん、この気温なのでグラウンドは凍てついています
Sure, the ground was totally frozen as you can see.
みんなのダッシュがあっという間に終わってしまったので
おかしいな？と思って、
みんなを走らす為に実際私も走ってみました
It was too quick for them to stop running this morning
and I wondered what was wrong.
And so I thought I might be able to boost up thier motivation
if I run along, right?!
が、このマイナス5℃という気温、
走るには寒すぎ．．．
《走る》と温まると思っていたんですが、
寒すぎて肺まで凍ってしまいそうになりました
I know! It was minus 5 degree C, right?!
It was TOO COLD to run much...
I thoguht when I run, my body and all warm up
but if I run in this cold,
it was like as if my lungs started to freeze!
みんな長い時間走らないのに納得☆
No wonder everyone wouldn't continue running this morning, huh?
ボルゾイでありながらボルゾイでないジルは
寒すぎてふるえる始末
Jill is not like normal Borzoi
and cannot stand the cold...
And she trembles by the cold...

After they took a bit of rest...

YES! Elinor and Joshua started their running and having fun fun fun again!
すると、今日は超めずらしく．．．
Then some unusual thing happened...
寒いのは大好きデュークが楽しい遊びに参戦
Duke joined in their fun!
See, Duke loves the cold temp and that probably made him decide to join in the kids!

寒いけど、お日様が出てきて晴れた良い日になるかと思っていたら、
午後．．．
It was super cold but the sun started to shine
and I thought it would be a fine day but...
外に出るといきなり
霰？霙？雪？
In the afternoon, when I took my doggies out,
it started to...hailing? Sleet? Snow???
シャルは黒いからどんなものが降っているか
良く分かるかな～？
Hmm, maybe if you look at Shall,
you might get a good idea what was falling.
はぁ、私の思った「晴れた良い日」というのは
まったく当たらなかったみたいです．．．
Yup, my expectation of "FINE DAY" was completely wrong...
☆☆☆ ちょっとお知らせ ☆☆☆
年始に私の伯父が亡くなったので、今年の年賀状は失礼させていただきます。
とうとうやってきてしまいました．．．
マイナス気温の季節が．．．
Here comes again the season of the temperature below zero...
もちろん、ボルゾイ達にとってはさっむ～い気温というのは願ったり叶ったりで
彼らのエネルギーレベルは上がるのみ
Well, of course, for Borzois COLD temperature is the best thing happens to them
and surely their energy level goes UP!
一番若い双子ちゃん達筆頭に
思う存分ダッシュダッシュダッシュ
The youngest ones lead all of them to run run run to their hearts' content
おばあちゃんジルまで楽しそうにホップ・ホップ
Even their grandma Jill joined their joyful run and hop hop hop.
もちろん、大人達が疲れて走らなくなっても
若い子達はとどまるところ知らず～
The young ones continue their running the longest and...
で、フルスピードで走っているジョシュア、
勢い余って横切ろうとしたジルに衝突～
Joshua running with his full speed couldn't stop when Jill carelessly stepped in front of Joshua
and BAM!
でもちょっぴり痛かったのはジルだけで
ジョシュアはかまわずR&B双子を追跡
But then only Jill complained a bit and Joshua continued his chase of the R&B twins
without any concern of hitting Jill...
ジルは少し文句を言ってましたが、
ジョシュアは動きが機敏で上手？！なのか、
怪我もなく遊び続行
Well, Joshua is very athletic and agile and somehow he knows how to move around others,
and so there's no injuries and go on with their FUN!
思う存分遊んだ後．．．
夕方から降る予報の雨がパラパラと．．．
午前中にしっかり暴れられたので
午後は大人しく室内でゆっくり過ごしてくれる
かなぁ．．．
After their having fun to their hearts' contents,
it started to rain
though it was supposed to stay clear till this afternoon
according to the weather forecast...
Oh well, at least they did exhausted themselves
as much as possible in the morning
so HOPEFULLY they can spend their afternoon time
QUIETLY indoors...
