少しずつ春に近づいてきたなぁと思っていたのに、
今朝は何とマイナス2℃以下で
日中の最高気温も5℃以下と冷蔵庫の中にいるような寒さで
またまた朝からちょび雪景色だった我が家…
I thought the spring was approaching
but then we had a bit of snow this morning...
A~nd, of course
the morning temperature was below zero(Celsius)
PLUS the highest temp of the day was below 5 degree Celsius!
Yup, we are definitely like IN the refrigerator!
ちょっとでも新鮮な雪を食そうと…
My kids tried to eat FRESH snow, as always...
前回ほどは堪能できなかった感じかも？！
Hmm, they didn't eat it like before...?!
Not enough to eat, and no satisfaction!!!???
まぁ、でも寒いが故に走る元気はたっぷりあるみたい…
But then, it was cold and so exciting, right?!
第一グループの外運動はばっちりでしたわ☆
So, the first group did their good job for their morning exercise!
でも、イザベルと入れ替わったメス達はというと…
Well...
After Isabelle went inside and other girls came out...
雪は食べても
寒いので運動する気にはならないようで…?!
They enjoyed eating snow but
for them, it was too cold to run...?!
しばらくしたら雪が降ってきたので
寒いから中に入りたいと主張した女性陣により
早々に室内へ入ったのでした…
あなたたち、本当に【寒さに強いはず】のボルゾイなのか？？？

and the girls insisted to go inside...
Yeah... They are BORZOIS, you know...
They are supposed to be born for COLD...
予報の通り、
極寒の朝だった…
As predicted,
it was super COLD this mornig..!
左は家周りで一番寒い場所にある温度計で
右は家周りでは一番暖かい玄関前にある温度計…
On your left shows the coldest place around our house
and on the right shows the warmest place around our front door...

Hmm, snow depth wasn't too bad, I guess...
外に出た時ははまだ雪も降ってた☆

イザベルとオス達がひとしきり遊んだ後は
他のメス達と交代～
When Isabelle ran around enough with boys,
she went in and other girls came out!
いやぁ、やっぱりいつ見ても
ボルゾイって雪が似合うと思うわ♪♪♪
No matter how many times I see it,
I always appriciate the sight of Borzois with snow!
これ、後ろでセスは滑って転んでる…
If you haven't noticed,
Seth slipped and fell in the back...

少し経つと晴れてきた
Snowing stopped after a while!
あ、でもまた降ってきた…
なんだかすぐに雨雲が広がる感じ？
Oh... it started to snow again...
Hmm, snow cloud comes and gone again and again?!
今日は一日中気温が上がらず…
日中はお日様が照っていたから
雪も解けたけど…
グラウンドにはかなりの水たまりが…
明日の朝はまた極寒マイナス気温の予報
解けた雪が凍って
今日以上に危ないかも
The sun was shining during the day
and snow melt but the temperature was quite low all day...
So the ground was soaked and got soooo dirty!
Then the temperature will be super cold again in the evening...
Hmmm,
frozen ground might be a little dangerous tomorrow!?
I hope not!

今日は昨日よりちょっぴりやる気を出して
キャノンのコンデジカメラで
みんなの写真を撮りましたぞ
I thought I should have more reasonable photos
for new year,
so I took my photos with my small Canon today!
う～む…
スマホで撮った写真よりはマシ
な感じかも…
でも躍動感のある写真はやっぱり一眼レフでないとなぁ…
でも、一眼レフだと
写真サイズが大きすぎて
写真加工ソフトがないと
とてもじゃないけどアップロードできない…
Ummm....
I guess these photos are better than yesterday's...maybe...
Hm, but my Nikon D500 is definitely better suited
for the photos of them running, right?!
But then, its photo size is way too big to upload for my blog
since I sill don't have my photoshop to edit them...

トレニア、今は引きこもり状態だからなぁ…
Oh no... I didn't take Torenia's photo today...
But then she's staying upstairs, resting all the time
so not quite befitting for pictures...yet...
今朝起きたら
雪が積もってた．．．
When I woke up today,
it was WHITE outside...
そろそろ出産だと思うんだけど
まだまだ．．．？？？
でも、気はかなり立っている上に
喧嘩っ早くなっているので
他のメス達からは離して生活中のイザベル．．．
I BELIEVE she will have babies very soon
but she doesn't LOOK like it, right???
But she gets angry pretty quickly without much cause,
and gets in trouble with other girls,
so I seperated Isabelle from others for now...
そう、でも独りぼっちは寂しすぎるので
パパになるジョシュアと気の優しいノーブルは一緒☆
Well, but since Isabelle gets too lonely
if she stays by herself,
so boss Joshua and sweet tempered Noble can stay with her.
でも、それには他の理由もあり．．．
Umm... actually, there's another reason for it...
はい、よりによって今はエレノアのヒート真っ盛りで
ノーブルとジョシュアは完全お祭り中．．．
若いノーブルは超～狂ってます
Yup, Elinor is in full mating season and
since yesterday it's her peak time...
SO, the young Noble gets soooooo excited
and actually quite mad now...
エレノアは誘うだけ誘って後は怒り散らす
いけずな女．．．
But the thing about Elinor is...
She just wants to PLAY but NOT actually mate.
I mean, whenever males want to mount her,
she gets REALLY angry...
What a girl...
他の子達も、
気が立ってる子達の側で
それなりに上手く過ごしてくれてます☆
Others spend their time well
even though
there's a girl spoil for a fight nearby...

バーティミアスの為にもらったクリスマスローズ、
雪にも負けずに綺麗に咲いてくれてます

今日は妹がノーブルをシャンプーしてくれた♪
私は腰痛で超さぼりまくりだったのだけど．．．
ノーブル、サラサラ～、ふわふわ～、ハンサム～
Since I have this terrible backache after sciatica,
my baby sister took some of my jobs
and today shampooed Noble for me!
(Yeah, I cannot live without her, right?!)
So, here he is, shiny~, fluffy~, and super handsome Noble!
ノーブル： 「でへっ、ぼく、ハンサム？？？」
Noble: "Oh dear me, am I lookin' good or what?!"
さて、我が家では採れたて冬野菜を
自分達で勝手に調達して外でおやつ代わりにする日々が続いている．．．
Now, our Borzois' daily chore became...
to find and take some winter vegitables themselves
for their treats while they are outside...
ジョシュア君はでっかい白菜でも持っていけるので
美味しいところを食べ放題
Joshua is big enough to carry this huge Chinese cabbage
so he can have the best part of this vegi
as much as he wants!
根元のところが一番甘いらしい．．．
Well... around the root area must be the sweetest part...
トレニアはレディーなので少しずつ☆
Well, Torenia is small and cannot take the big bite,
so just one at a time...
今度は大根を食べるジョシュア君
Hmm, now Joshua found Japanese white radish...
ジョシュアの食べた後を狙っていたのはエルザ．．．
ご飯の時に出てくる野菜は嫌いなのに．．．
新鮮なものは生でも食べるエルザ．．．
Well, Elsa was waiting after Joshua to get this cabbage...
You know, Elsa hates vegis whenever I give them as her daily meal
but somehow, the fresh one tastes better and she eats!
でかすぎた大根を切ってあげたら、ノーブルが見～っけ
でも、トレニアも欲しかったようで．．．
The Japanese white radish was too big for them
and I kindly cut them to pieces and Noble found one!
BUT, Torenia also wanted it...!
ノーブル： 「これ、ぼくが見つけたんだけど．．．ぼく、食べてもいい．．．？？？」
Noble: "Um... I found it first... so I can eat it... can I????"
トレニアは今回はあきらめてくれたようだ☆
Well, Torenia gave up after a while...
さて、女の子なのにジョシュアと同じくらいでっかくなってるアデル(約40キロ)は
いつも食事制限を言い渡されるので．．．
You see, Adelle is big for a girl...
I mean, as big and heavy as Joshua,
so usually everyone stops Adelle to eat so much...
アデル： 「ね～、アデルもこれ食べてもいい．．．？？？」
Adelle: "Mom... is it OK if I eat this one...?"
Chie: 「野菜だから思う存分食べてもいいよ☆」
Chie: "Well, it's vegi, so you can eat to your heart's content, my dear!"
そう、でっかい白菜はもぎ取って
どこかへ持って行って食べる事も多々あるので
順番待ちしている子達がスキを狙っている．．．
Sometimes, they rip some leaf from the huge Chinese cabbage
and somehow they take it to somewhere to eat...
And while there's no one around this vegi,
someone's usually watching and take that chance...
アデルがいなくなったらエレノアが．．．
Mmm, so Elinor was watching...
ノーブル： 「ねぇ、ぼくの番はまだ～・・・？？？」
Noble: "Chi~e, when is MY turn...???"
エレノアさん、ノーブルには渡さないぞと持っていく気．．．？？？
でもでかすぎてエレノアには無理だって．．．
Oh, Elinor doesn't want to give any to Noble
so she tried to take this huge one to somewhere!
But failed... of course...
Too huge for her...
あ！アデルはこんなところに隠れて食べてる
OH... Adelle was hiding here...
I mean... tried to hide and eat...
あ、エレノアがとうとうあきらめたから
ノーブルの番がやってきた
NOW, Elinor finally gave up and Noble got his turn!
ノーブル： 「な～に、エレノア．．．ぼくの番じゃないの．．．？？？」
Noble: "Elinor... didn't you just finish it, so my turn...???"
ノーブル： 「アデルも一緒に食べてもいいよ
」
Noble: "Adelle and I can share..."
ノーブル： 「今度はだれ．．．？ じょ、ジョッチュ．．．」
Noble: "who wants now...? oh... Jo... Joschu..."
もしかしたらジョシュアに取り上げられちゃうかと思ったんだけど
でも．．．
I thoguht Joshua might take it from Noble
by intimidating him...
But...
たまたまやってきたディーナの耳が気になったので
ノーブルの白菜はノーブルのもの☆
Deanna happened to come close
and Joshua got distracted by someting about her ear...
So Noble's vegi is safe
and he was able to continue without trouble...
ディーナ： 「あたしのおかげなんだから、感謝してよねっ」
Deanna: "Ha! Thanks to ME, so Noble should thank me well later"
我が家のカモミールがたくさん咲いている．．．
で、なぜか子供達はこのカモミールが大好きときている．．．
We have Chamomile in bloom these days...
and somehow, my Borzois love to eat it.

Deanna got her chance now, and look at her big smile....

このカモミール、たくさん食べる子と
少ししか食べない子といて、エルザは少量派
You know, some eat a lot of chamomile but
some eat only a little and Elsa eats only a little.
あ、まったく食べないシャルがいた！
シャル：「ぼくは雑草は食べません．．．」
Oops, Shall doesn't eat chamomile...
Shall: "I do NOT eat weed..."
暖かくなってくると
色々と庭仕事も増えて、
みんなが外で遊んでいる時に
ちょっと死角になっているところで
水やりなどをしていると．．．
When it gets warmer,
lots of garden work started to pile up...
So when my kids are playing outside,
I sometimes need to go
where kids cannot see me working...
私がどこにいるか必ず確認したがる子供達．．．
Of course, kids always want to see where I AM, right?!
でも．．．
but...
ディーナはどうしてでも一緒にお手伝いをしたいらしい．．．
Deanna needs to be with me to HELP...I think...
もうすぐ1歳のパピー達、
体はかなりでかい．．．
Puppies are almost one year old...
Mmm...only a year but they grew so big...
イザベル、女の子だけどバーティと変わらないくらい?!
Mmm, Isabelle is a girl but almost the same height as Bartimaeus...!?
アデルは遊んでいる時は低姿勢だから小さく見えるけど
体重は40キロ近く．．．
Adelle looks smaller when she's playing with adults
but her weight is almost 40kg...!
ノーブルも凛々しくなって．．．
Noble became quite a handsome boy!
ディーナは一番ちっちゃいけれど、
それでも26キロ以上はある．．．
Deanna is the smallest among these siblings but
she weighs more than 26kg!
アデルは我が家では初めてのデカデカ女の子．．．
あまりの食欲の為に「でかい」の通り越して
おデブな女の子かも．．．
Adelle is my first BIG girl...
This is my first time to see
such like her enormous appetite...
Mmm, she is way beyond big
but now she is considered as fat...
