ゆっくり回復

 

馬にとって疝痛は命取りになりかねない怖い病気です。

腸の動きが悪くなり、便やガスがたまり腸壁を圧迫して馬を死にいたらしめます。発見がはやいことと適切な処置で救われます。

シャル君もいま回復途上にあるようです。

ころげまわるような苦しみにもあわず、早めの処置と点滴で水分を補い腸の動きが活発になってきたようです。

今日はいつものヘイキューブ半分に水をくわえておかゆ状態のごはんをもらいました。便と尿の観察も回復度を推し量るたいせつな仕事です。

おやつもリンゴとバナナを少し上げましたが、もっと食べたいようでした。

引馬も毎日先生に一日三回はしてもらっています。

寒暖差の激しい日々は年取った馬にはこたえるようです。
