シャル君も私も暑さは嫌いだから、のろのろ運動して放牧もほんの5分程度、手入れのあとは馬房ですごします。

でもミックンは今度はスキューバダイビングを始めました。

高飛び込みの練習に行ったとき、みかけたスキューバダイビングに魅せられたそうです。

 

今日が初めての練習です。

Both Sharu-kun and I dislike the heat, so we engage in slow exercises and let the horse　graze for about 5 minutes. After taking care of him, we spent time in the stables.

However, Mick-kun has now taken up scuba diving. It seems that he was captivated by scuba diving when he saw it during a high diving practice session.

Today is his first practice.

燃費が悪いから

朝出かけるとき車のガソリンのメモリが二つ残っていることを確認して出かけました。一つで三浦と青葉台往復できます。

ところが帰り、まだ衣笠インターに差し掛かる前から、残り少なくなったガソリンの量を知らせる赤ランプがつきました。

きっと冷房を使っているのでガソリンの消費がいつもより多いのだと思います。

もし渋滞が発生したらガス欠も考えられるし、ドキドキしながらかえりつきました。

I confirmed that there were two bars left on the gasoline gauge when I left in the morning. With one bar, I can make a round trip to Miura and Aobadai.

However, on my way back, even before reaching kinugasa  Interchange, the red low fuel warning light came on, indicating that the remaining gasoline was running low.

I'm sure the increased gasoline consumption is due to using the air conditioning.

If traffic congestion had occurred, I would have been at risk of running out of gas, so I nervously made my way back.

今日は遠空ちゃんの肢をきずかって、リクちゃんは代わりにトリトン君に騎乗でした。

暑くても気にする風もなく元気です。孫のミックンも夏が大好きで毎日のように海やプールで泳いでいます。

シャル君と私は涼しくなることを望んでいます。

 

雲空

晴れたり曇ったり、雨がぱらついたり、蒸し暑いし、ハエが多くて落ち着かない午前でした。

午後にはかみなりも。

It was a morning of alternating between sunny and cloudy skies, occasional rain showers, muggy weather, and an unsettling abundance of flies.

In the afternoon, there were even thunderstorms.

 

少し動きが活発に

少しづつ動きが活発なってきました。今日は調馬策で回していても、放牧していてもいつもとは違う元気さを感じました。

いままでは誰が見ても跛行だとわかりましたが、今よく見ないとどの肢が悪いのかわからないくらいです。

暑い日が相変わらず続いていますが、朝夕のちょっとした瞬間に秋を感じます。

ときおり吹く涼しい風にシャル君もいち早く感じ取っているのでしょう。

秋に夏の疲れ出ないことをいのります。

 

Gradually, the movements have become more lively. Whether trotting during training or grazing, I felt a different kind of energy today.

Before, it was obvious to anyone that there was a limp, but now you have to look closely to discern which limb is affected.

The hot days continue as usual, but in the brief moments of morning and evening, I sense the arrival of autumn.

I imagine Sharu is quick to pick up on the cool breeze that occasionally blows.

I pray that the summer fatigue won't linger into autumn.

居心地のいい場所をもとめて

クラブ内の敷地の中で、気温差は場所によって大きく変わります。

馬たちは馬房が決まっているのでそこにいるしかありませんが、猫たちは好きなところを見つけて寝転んでいます。

昨日は風が通り抜けていくクラブハウスがいいと思ったらしく、ドアの前でもおかまいなしに寝ていました。

人馬とも連日の暑さにたえています。もう少しで涼しくなると信じて！

 

Within the premises of the club, there are significant temperature variations depending on the location.

While the horses are confined to their respective stables, the cats are free to find their preferred spots to lounge and rest.

Yesterday, it seemed that the clubhouse, through which the wind passed freely, was favored, as one of the cats was seen sleeping right by the door without any concern.

Both humans and horses are enduring the heatwave day after day. We believe that cooler weather will arrive soon!
