馬は人を癒してくれます

一緒にいるだけで人を癒すことができる力を持っている優しい馬たち。

昔は労働力として使われたが、今　神事として馬が使われている。その残酷さには目も耳も覆いたくなる。

なんとかこの行為をやめる方法はないのだろうか。これは神様がお喜びになることだとは思えないのです。

Gentle horses possess the power to heal people simply by being in their presence.

In the past, they were used as a workforce, but now they are utilized in religious ceremonies. The cruelty involved in this practice is so distressing that one wants to cover their eyes and ears.

Is there any way to put an end to this act? It is difficult to believe that this brings joy to the gods.

暑い朝

朝7時ごろ、この馬ちゃんだれ？と一瞬思うほどシャル君とにた姿勢で寝ている遠空ちゃん。

夜よく眠れなかったのかな。

お向かいのマーちゃんはお隣のマｰブルにはあまり気がなさそうで、時折ボールで遊んでいます。

ウシマルちゃんが亡くなってマーブルはさみしいと思うけど。

シャル君は元気に放牧とレッスンを終え、そしてさっと水洗いしてあとはリラックスです。

元気でいることに感謝です。

Around 7 o'clock in the morning, Toku-chan is lying down in a posture that makes you briefly wonder, "Who's that horse?" resembling Sharu-kun.

Perhaps he didn't sleep well at night.

Mar-chan (new comer) from across the his room doesn't seem to pay much attention to Marble next door, occasionally playing with a ball.

I think Marble must feel lonely without Ushimaru-chan.

After finishing grazing and lessons energetically, Sharu-kun quickly washes up and then relaxes.

I am grateful for his well-being.

お久しぶり

コロナ　介護　手術などそれぞれに困難を抱え、三年間あえなかった友４人でランチをしました。

小学館で一緒だった仲間です。静かなたたずまいが心地よい場所で、ゆっくりお話しできて幸せでした。

会うことにより、お互い励みになり、頑張ろうという気持ちがわいてきます。

アジサイの咲く時期に会ったことも記憶にに残るでしょう。

I had lunch with four friends whom I hadn't seen for three years, each facing difficulties with COVID, caregiving, and surgeries.

We used to work at Shogakukan. The serene atmosphere of the place was comforting, and we were able to have a leisurely conversation, which made us happy.

By meeting each other, we became each other's encouragement, and we felt motivated to do our best.

Meeting during the blooming season of hydrangeas will surely remain a memorable experience.

 

まっしろ

今日は日中２８度まで上がり暑く感じられる日でした。

シャルくんは放牧すると暑さがいやなのか、のそのそと歩いてあちこちで寝ころび、あきるとじっと佇んでいました。

シャル君にもわたしにも快適な朝ではありませんでした。

首と肩はさっと水洗いしてあげ、水分も十分補給してあげました。

Today was a hot day, with temperatures rising up to 28 degrees Celsius during the day, making it feel hot.

When I let Sharu roam freely, he seemed to dislike the heat. He walked slowly and lay down here and there, and when he got bored, he stood still.

It was not a comfortable morning for both Sharu and me.

I quickly washed his neck and shoulders with water and made sure to provide him with enough hydration.
