今回は、ベルギーの海岸の中で最も好きなオステンドの海岸を紹介します。英仏海峡トンネル開通前は、英国のドーバーからのフェリー客で列車に乗り換える若者の群れで賑わっていましたが、今は、単なる終着駅になってしまいました。駅から海岸に続く道では、屋台で海産物が売られており、3から5ユーロで、えび、かにかま、イカリングなど新鮮な海産物を食べれます。今年の夏は、冷夏であったため、例年多くの海水浴客で賑わう砂浜もがらがらでした。
This time I show you my favorite Belgian beach Ostende. Before the Channel tunnel there were many young people to take a ferry after the railway. But now it get a quiet station as the end of the line. There are many street shops from the station to the beach. We can eat the fresh seafood. It costs only 3 to 5 Euro. As this summer was cold, the sand beach was empty.
