Yasuhiro Nagano Opinion
October 6, 2024: Sunday edition. Dear Sir,
I think that the realization of (MAGA) requires stabilizing the employment of workers. Japan is basically a lifetime employment system. Therefore, there is no forced dismissal associated with rationalization. I think the United States should follow suit.
I think that the decline of the automobile industry in the Rust Belt is also due to rigid labor-management contracts. This is clear from the fact that Japanese automobile companies hate the Rust Belt and build factories in the South.
I am proposing a policy to revive the Rust Belt, but in order to realize reform, we need cooperation between labor and management. The principle is that managers do not fire workers who become redundant through rationalization.
And the principle is that workers cooperate with rationalization if they do not fire workers who become redundant through rationalization.
In the case of USS, if Nippon Steel acquires it, I think that many of the workers will become redundant. Nippon Steel should make a "promise (contract)" with the labor union that it will not lay off workers or lower their wages, and that it will transfer them.
Such a contract applies to all companies in the "Rust Belt." If this promise can be made, my proposal for a "new, heavy industry zone, the Rust Belt" will be realized.
"USS" should expand its production scale. However, this is not possible immediately. There will be "natural retirements," so half of the employees will be "seconded" to "subsidiaries" and "shipbuilding" and other business partners.
Nippon Steel will strengthen the management of its "customers" in the "Rust Belt" (shipbuilding companies and automobile companies) and "increase sales of steel products."
Nippon Steel should ship to its "customers" in the "Rust Belt" at a "special price" because transportation costs are also cheap. The purchase of "cheap steel products" will be a "great competitive advantage" for "heavy industry products."
Unless the "purchase price" of "steel products" in the Rust Belt becomes cheaper, my "plan for the revival of the Rust Belt" will not be realized. "MAGA" will not come to fruition either.
"President Biden, Trump and Harris" are insisting on blocking Nippon Steel's "plan to acquire US Steel". I think that simply "blocking the acquisition" will lead to the decline of America.
After all, "steel is the nation". Unless "USS" becomes "the world's best steel company", the "Rust Belt" will not be revived. Automobile companies are also losing their competitiveness.
I am against "simple acquisition". The "acquisition" should be allowed under the conditions I wrote earlier. If the company is allowed to continue as it is, "USS" will go bankrupt.
I think that at first, instead of "100% investment" by Nippon Steel, 50% should be invested by the US government, and if the above is fulfilled and Americans trust Nippon Steel, the government shares should be sold to Nippon Steel and 100% investment by Nippon Steel should be allowed.
I think that the "main industry of the Rust Belt" will change from automobiles to "(AI) robots". The main customers of the "AI robot (machine tool)" are factories in the "Special Zone on the Mexican Border."
It is an absolute requirement that the products of the "Special Zone on the Mexican Border" be "more competitive than Chinese products." To achieve this, the factory equipment must be more up-to-date than that of China. "(AI robots) in the Rust Belt" are necessary for this.
"Temporary immigrants" accepted in the "Special Zone" can be employed at "low wages." Sales are to the "American market" and "export." Factories from all over the world will relocate to the "Special Zone on the Mexican Border." Of course, factories will also "advance" from China.
America's "Wall Street" will experience an "unprecedented investment boom" as they invest in companies that advance into the "Special Zone." America's future is "rosy."

I'll write again tomorrow.
Part 2. Victims of human rights violations in Japan. "Chinese, Korean, Filipino, American, etc."
There are tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of victims all over the world. An unusual number of people.
*****************************************
There are "innumerable" Chinese and Korean victims.
This was "before the war of WW2" because the Chinese and Koreans were "second-class citizens" of Japan, so the judiciary makes them "idiots".
*****************************************
Everyone, please tell your acquaintances who went to Japan and were arrested for violating the Immigration Law.
It is necessary to demand "governments of each country" to "claim" the Japanese government for "restoration of honor and compensation for damages".
If the government doesn't respond, ask the media for help. "Justice media" will always exist.
You should be a "hero", go for it! !
"1" Provide "false documents" to a foreigner, and the foreigner acquires a "status of residence". And if the foreigner has "illegally worked".
A person who provides "false documents" such as an "employment contract" to a foreigner is innocent.
However, from January 2017, it will be punished by "law revision".
The Chinese and the Philippine embassy staff and diplomats I am 'criminally indicting' are completely innocent. See part 2 for weekdays (Monday to Friday) for details.
``2'' Foreign nationals who have been arrested for ``illegal employment (activities outside of their qualifications'') are ``in most cases'' innocent.***
Reason: The person who "employed" them has not been punished for "promoting illegal employment" under the Immigration Control Act. Therefore, by virtue of "equality under the law," foreigners are innocent.
"Most foreigners" are "deported" with "small" "fines". Foreigners should "claim" the Japanese government for "compensation" of "several million yen" per person.
It is crazy for Koreans to "claim compensation" from the Japanese government for the "comfort women issue" and "requisitioned labor issue." They should claim reparations from the "Korean government". (The Korean government has already received it).
The issue of "violation of the Immigration Control Act" is completely different from the "Japan-Korea Treaty". Therefore, Korean politicians need to "pursue" the Japanese government as a "new Japan-Korea problem". Koreans and Chinese should proudly claim that they are not "Japanese slaves."
Japan's prime minister shouts "rule under the law". They are "talking about Japan" crazy!
Only two countries, South Korea and the United States, have concluded an extradition treaty with Japan.
This is also evidence that Japan does not have a "rule under the law".

I am "Japanese samurai". Japan should be "friends" with people of any country. "NO War"
Part 3. Construction of special zones.
The "special zone" "accepts" refugees and immigrants as "temporary immigrant" workers, limiting their residence to the "special zone". Developed countries can use them as low-wage workers for economic growth, and refugees and immigrants can get jobs and live a hopeful human life.

Zelensky took office on an "election promise" to scrap the Minsk Accords and regain territory through war. But when news of his tax evasion and tax havens came to light, he started a war.
