第十九弾: Pela ＋ Early Day Miners ライブ ＠ Tonic
Initially, my intentions were to see Early Day Miners, a band that creates slow, mellow and grand music. I did see them, but the audience seemed to favor the other band, Pela, more. It's understandable. The picture above is of Pela performing.
Early Day Minersの荘厳な音楽を聴きに行ったんだけど、Pelaの方がウケが良かったな…順番が逆なら…でも確かにPelaは良かった。写真はPela。
This is also Pela. Btw, Pan Sonic were also scheduled to play at midnight, but that was a separate show and u had to pay a different fee for that.
これもPela。ちなみにPan Sonicが深夜から演奏したらしいけど、そのライブは別扱いだから見るには別料金払わなあかんと言ってた。特に興味無いのでEDMの演奏終了とともに退散。
EDM's music was actually louder than I thought. I guess you can label them as a slowcore band. Pela is probably what people call a "screamo" band. They're definitely emo at least.
EDMの演奏が思ったよりノイジーでハードだった。こういうバンドをスローコアって言うのかね。Pelaはスクリーモかな。少なくともエモであることは間違いないと思う。
Bought a Pela shirt instead of an EDM one. It came with a CDR of their new songs. The Pela guitarist was there and he told me that its an early release of their new material.
EDMは止めてPelaシャツ買ったら新曲が入ったCDRが付いてきた。Pelaのギタリストがステージ上のクレージーパフォーマンスとは打って変わって爽やかな対応。「君、名前は？よろしく！もっと俺らのライブ見に来てくれよ！」とか。EDMは…無愛想。
