本日はアッシュビルよりお届けします。
アッシュビルはストリートパフォーマーに優しい街で、
至る所でパフォーマンスを楽しむことが出来ます。
ストリートパフォーマンスを行うにはいくつかのルールがありますが、許可を得る必要はありません。
1か所でのパフォーマンスは最大2時間。
その後は他の人に譲り、別の場所に移動する事。
音の大きさ、時間帯、反復性と距離に注意。
お店の前でパフォーマンスする時は、事前に一言話しておけば協力してくれます。
歩行者の邪魔にならないよう歩道は約180cm開ける事。
パフォーマンス後はきれい片付ける。
アンプは下げたままに。
という、いたって当たり前のことだなと思えるルールだけです。
時々ストリートパフォーマーの仲間入りをして、お箏のストリートパフォーマンスをしています。
古典曲、現代曲、アニメの曲などをいろいろ演奏してみますが、
多くの方が立ち止まって楽しんで下さいますし、ご質問を受けたりします。
映像は、2019年秋に近くのカフェでコンサートを行う前にストリートパフォーマンスしてみました。
(なので着物を着ています)
子供たちも楽しんでくれたようでした。

Asheville is a street performer-friendly city. There are some rules for doing street performance, but no required permission.
「Perform in one spot for a maximum of two hours. After that, it is courteous to move to another area.
Be aware of what kind of noise they’re making. City ordinances break down noise into four categories: loudness, time of day, repetitiveness + proximity.
Talk to the businesses they perform in front of, so that they can communicate and work together as far as controlling the noise.
Be mindful of crowds. Buskers must leave six feet of sidewalk space for pedestrians.
Leave their spot cleaner than when they found it.
Keep amps turned down.」
I sometimes do koto street performances.
I perfirmed traditional pieces, contemporary pieces, and anime songs. A lot of people stop and enjoy music.
The video was a street performance before a concert at a nearby cafe in the fall of 2019.
