After assemly conference,I went to Troldhaugen that Grieg and Nina lived from 1885.Inside leaves of mark of Grieg and Nina's spending life.
It is very gorgeous,the house Edvard Grieg drafted design.He adored haveing his own house for long.His dream came truly.
He stayed and composed many lyrical pieces in surronding beautiful natre.Atomosphere is very quietly.Grieg also built up small composten to concentrate on compose.
I wanted to visit there again.I played my piano recital at Troldhaugen Summer Music festival in 2003,since it I didn't visit.I was very glad to re-visit again.
I took some photoes in front of Troldhaugen and met Norwegian Pianist Sigard Slatbrekk,I am very honored to meet him because I had his CD.it is very fantastic CD.
I also took the photo with Grieg's statue,Grieg was very small man he is smaller than me!
Nina was also very small lady.
I bet that they must have been lovely couple.
The weather was very fine,and enjoyed walking in Troldhaugen and I though back to old days.
