今年、生まれて初めて梅干しをつくりました。
紀州特産の「白梅干」です。
お隣さんがいただいた梅のお裾分け、
大きくて立派な梅だったので、思い切って
梅干しに挑戦しました。
出来上がりはとっても素朴な味。
昔の人の智恵に驚きつつ、自然の恵みを
いただきました。

I mede pickled umes this year. It's my first challenge.
The white pickled umes are special product around Wkayama prefecture.
My next door has got umes and gave me some.
The umes were very large, so I decided to make pickled umes.
The result is very simple taste.
I appreciate the blessings of nature and I wonder at the wisdom of our predecessors.
