There are three marks should be attentioned when selecting plastic mold :
Firstly, Don’t put a hign value on the product design, but ignore the injection mold manufacturing.
During new trail production for some new products , some users may only focus on product research and development , but ignore the communication with the injection mold manufacturer . There are two good advantages after confirmation for product design:
1, Can ensure good forming process for the product design , will not caurse design admendent concerned on the components problems .
2, can make good preparation before mold manufacturer , then avoid to influence the mold lead time .
3 making high quality plastic molds , only need good connection by buyer and seller ,then the production costs can be saved , also can reduce the mold cycle time .
Secondly, don’t only focus on the price,should consider based on quality, cycle time , service ,too.
1, there are many kinds of mould, can be roughly divided into 10 categories.
According to the different requirements for parts material, physical and chemical properties, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, such as service life and economy to select different types of die forming.
2, For the high accuracy requirement of mold , it need high precision numerical control machine, and its requirements for mold material and forming technology are very strict . , also need use CAD/CAE/CAM technology to design and analysis.
3, For some parts have special requirements during injection, the mold will need hot runner , gas-assist , nitrogen gas cylinder processing for production,
4, the manufacturer should have CNC, EDM, Wire-cut machine tools and CNC profile milling equipment, high-precision grinding machine, high precision three coordinates measuring instrument, computer and related software, etc.
5, In general , the large die casting mold (such as automobile cover parts die) need consider whether the machine has a blank holder mechanism, such as lubricants, multi-station progressive side even.In addition to stamping tonnage consider speed, feeding device, machine tool and die protection device.
6, the mould manufacturing method and process and not every enterprise has to master.When choosing cooperation manufacturer must understand its processing capacity, not only see the hardware devices, combine the management level, processing experience and technical strength.
7,Different manufacturers offer big different prices for the same mold. You shouldn’t pay is higher than the value of mould cost at the same time, also should not be less than the cost of the mold.Mould manufacturer like you, want to get reasonable profit in the business.Ordering a set of quotation is much lower mould will be the beginning of the trouble.Users must be from their own requirements, comprehensive measure.
Thirdly, in order to avoid long collaboration, as far as possible plastic mold making and product processing.
1, a qualified mould (specimen eligible), may not be able to produce a batch of qualified products.The main and the components of the machine tool selection, forming technology (forming temperature and forming time, etc.) and the operator’s technical quality
