まるでそれは

街路灯の

吊り鉢のようなスキマ草

It’s like a hanging flowerpot
That is attached on a streetlamp

They are living on the drainpipe

一目でこれは見事だと、街路灯の飾りとかで見る、吊り鉢にそっくりなことよ…と、朝から感動です。

At a first glance, I was impressed with them and they reminded me of the hanging flowerpot that belonged to the lamp. It’s really similar to

It. I was happy to see them in the morning.

雪の後の冷気が残る朝でも、元気そうな感じで並んでいました。

They seemed to be fine, even after snowing, it was a bit cold today.

I’m seeing some Sakura flowers on the trees

It’s snowing just begun

The flowers seem to be cold

写真の鳩には昨日出会いました。ちょいと一服、的な感じで、のんびりしてるように見えましたが、今日は雪でマジで寒いし…とか言って慌てたりしてたりして。食べる物は少ないかもですが、羽毛纏っているから大丈夫ですよね？

I met the dove in the photograph yesterday. She(he?) seemed to be having a break, relaxing. However, we’ve got snow today, so she might be saying like this...”Oops! It’s snowing today! Crazy Shivering!” She might get panicked a bit? There would be less foods than yesterday... but you’ve got very fine feathers, so never get cold, haven’t you?

なんか身も蓋もない感じですが、本歌取り風です。「散る桜　残る桜も　散る桜」(良寛和尚)

今年は悪天候続きで、花の寿命が短かった気がします。残念。

My Haiku is inspired by other Haiku that is a famous one, written by Monk Ryokan, in Japanese, “Chiru Sakura, Nokoru Sakura mo, Chiru Sakura” ( means... like this, Sakura (cherry blossom) flower will be falling and the remains will be also falling...) 

This year spring, we’ve had bad weathers during their blooming... so their flowers’s lives are shorter than usual. I am sad.

It was a night in spring

There were many falling Sakura petals

I am counting their numbers

そんなことは不可能…に近いと思いながら、眺めながら、何やら考えながら…歩きながら…。

It would be impossible, I know that. But I was seeing them, thinking of something and walking...

There are the entrances of ant’s tunnels

上を見るのが忙しいと、下が疎かになりますね。ふと気付けば蟻の巣の出入り口が開いていました。

When we are busy to look up, to see Sakura tree flowers something, we wouldn’t pay attention to under, ground. A few days ago, I found it. There are some holes on the ground, the doorways of ant’s tunnels.

咲き始めなので頑張ってますが、強風に煽られしまっているのもありますね。

It’s just started blooming so they are strong enough against the strong winds but some petals are falling down...

Something or someone is just saying 

白い色のさくらで綺麗でしたが、写真に撮るとイマイチでしたのでチョイ加工しました。ニンゲンたちが色々と悩みや問題を抱えてウロウロしていても、自然たちはきっちり自分たちの時間を刻んでいますね。

Their flowers are whitish pink, so beautiful but when I photographed them, the picture was not good very much so I photoshopped it a bit. Well, I think that they, this Sakura and also other natures live naturally, always keep their paces. Just us humans, have been getting troubles and problems... so we are milling around to find answers...

A Sakura tree said

At the bottom of the tree

根っこや幹の途中で、ポッと花の房が4、5個固まって咲いていることがありますよね。足元のは、踏まないように、踏まれないように…。

We could find a bunch of Sakura’s flowers(4-5 flowers) somewhere on a shaft or on around a bottom of a tree, like the photograph above. Please never step on them and never be stepped on by human beings...
