In Luxembourg the children received the gift from their parents on St Nicholas Day (Dec. 6).
Then the Luxembourg City organized the St Nicholas Parade on the previous Sunday of this date.
St Nicholas and the mayor welcomed the children and they received the packs of the sweats.
