Metz Cathedral
This time I introduce the most successful museum in France except Paris. The Centre Pompidou-Metz just celebrated its 1st year. Record numbers for this kind of institution outside of Paris: 800,000 visitors since its opening in May 2010. The unique architecture was designed by Shigeru Ban (Tokyo), Jean de Gastines (Paris) and Philip Gumuchdjian (London).
This year the invitated country of Nancy Expo was Japan.
