☆パリ散歩 （グラン・ブルヴァール界隈） Stroll in Paris （Grands Boulvards)

久し振りに、パリ散歩を続けます。
今日は、オペラ座の近くにある、レトロでスタイリッシュな商店街に関するお話です。
Now, I start writing again about my stroll in Paris.　Today's topic is about the retro-flavored, stylish shopping street near the Opera Theatre.

2010年5月に、オペラ座からイタリア大通り、モンマルトル大通りを辿って、地下鉄駅のグランブルヴァール駅まで散策しました。これまでに、凱旋門やマデレーヌ寺院に向かって歩いたことは幾度もありますが、こちらの方面は初めてです。
モンマルトル大通りの北側には、サクレ・クール寺院を望む景色が見えました。
In May, 2010, I took a stroll along the Boulevard des Italiens and the Boulevard Montmartre from the Opera Theater to the subway station of Grands Boulevards. To the north of the Boulevard Montmartre, I could notice the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur.

ところで、近代的な風景のモンマルトル大通りを歩いているときに、新発見をしました。大通りの南側に小さな入口がある風変わりなアーケードの小路です。そこには、レトロでシックなレストランやブティックが並んでいる商店街で、その名は、“パノラマ・アーケード街”と言います。創設は何と1800年とのことですから、フランス革命の起こった間もなくの時代です。1817年にパリで初のガス灯が設置されたこの商店街は、歴史的建造物に登録されています。
While walking along the Boulevard Montmartre, I made a new discovery. To the south side of the Boulevard, there was an alley, full of the retro-flavored, chic-looking restaurants and butiques with a narrow entrance in cotrast to the very modern appearane of the outside boulevard. It is called the "Passage des Panoramas".　Its original construction dates back to 1800, and this shopping mall equipped with the gas lamps installed for the first time in Paris in 1817 is registered as the historical monument.
