慰安婦問題をめぐる日韓合意に基づいて日本政府が拠出した１０億円をもとに元慰安婦の支援事業を行っている韓国の財団の理事のうち５人が、韓国政府の支援が得られないなどとして、辞表を提出していたことが明らかになり、合意への新しい対応方針を来月にも示す見通しのムン・ジェイン（文在寅）大統領が、財団の活動についてどのような姿勢を示すかが、今後の焦点です。

この財団を運営する日韓関係の専門家など８人の理事のうち５人が、韓国政府に今週、辞表を提出したことが明らかになりました。財団は５人以上の理事で運営されるのが規則で、辞表が受理されれば活動は停滞することになります。
辞表を提出した理事の１人はＮＨＫの取材に、「韓国政府は財団の来年度の運営費を計上しておらず、政府の支援がなければ続けられない」と話しています。
合意に至る経緯を検証してきた韓国外務省の作業部会は２７日、「被害者の意見を十分に集約せずに合意を結んだ」などとする結果を発表し、ムン・ジェイン大統領は来月にも新しい対応方針を示す見通しで、この中で財団の活動についてもどのような姿勢を示すかが、今後の焦点です。
一方で、韓国大統領府の関係者は２９日、慰安婦問題など過去の歴史問題とは別に、核・ミサイル開発を続ける北朝鮮に対しては日本と連携して対応していきたいとする考えを強調し、ムン・ジェイン政権がどのような対日政策を示すのかも注目されます
