東名でワゴン車が追突 ２人死傷 上りは一時通行止め

１日午前、神奈川県山北町の東名高速道路の上り線でワゴン車が軽乗用車に追突し、軽乗用車に乗っていた８２歳の女性が死亡し、運転していた５３歳の息子がけがをしました。警察はワゴン車を運転していた男を逮捕し、事故の詳しい状況を調べています。
１日午前９時２０分ごろ、神奈川県山北町の東名高速道路の上り線で、ワゴン車が軽乗用車に追突しました。
この事故で軽乗用車に乗っていた静岡県沼津市の杉山よ志子さん（８２）が頭などを強く打ってまもなく死亡したほか、運転していた杉山さんの５３歳の息子がけがをしました。
警察はワゴン車を運転していた東京・新宿区の会社員、若林康介容疑者（３０）を過失運転傷害の疑いでその場で逮捕しました。現場は３車線の下り坂の緩やかな右カーブで、警察によりますと、真ん中の車線を走行していたワゴン車が左側の車線にはみ出し、軽乗用車に追突したと見られるということです。
調べに対し、「前をよく見ていなかった」と供述しているということで、警察は容疑を過失運転致死傷に切り替えて事故の状況を調べています。
事故の影響で、東名高速道路の上り線は、静岡県と神奈川県の間の一部の区間で３時間半にわたって通行止めになりました
