お出かけ♪ Going out

きょうは、近くのレストランに皆でお出かけ。
Today, I am going out to a restaurant near home with my family.

　　　　　　　

“ソックス君”　いい子にお留守番していてねぇ～！
“Socks！”(=Name of my grandma's dog)　
Take care of the house while we are out.

満８ヶ月♪ ８ Months Old

りさは、きょうで、丁度、生まれて８ヶ月が経ちました。
Today, I turned 8 months old.

下の歯茎から　1本歯が少し生えてきました。
I started teething.

離乳食も、一日2回食べるようになりました。
I eat solid food twice a day now.

また、最近は　辺りにある物を　手当たり次第、何でも食べてしまいます。
Recently I started putting anything into my mouth.
　　　　　　　　　

　　　　　　　　　

とくに最近は、ヤギさんのように、紙を食べるのが大好きです。
Especially, I like to eat paper--like a goat.

ママは、「どうせウンチで出るから」、と平気です。
My mommy says that it goes to the same place anyway, so she is ok with it.

でも、そばで見ているおじいちゃんが、やめさせるようにママに言っています。
But everytime my grandpa sees me doing it, he tells my mommy not to make me eat it.

　　　　　　　　　

りさは、そのうち、ハイハイできるようになったら、危ない物も食べてしまうかもしれないから、あたりには、変なものを置いておかないようにしてねぇ～！
Sooner or later, I will be able to crawl. I may eat everything I see, so please don't put any dengerous around me.

久しぶり！ For a long time

リトルロックから帰国して、三ヶ月ぶりに、一家全員が揃いました。
My　family had a reunion when I came back from Little Rock. We were there for 3 months.

グランパ、グランマも、りさの帰りを、首を長くして待っていてくれました。
My grandpa & grandma waited so long for me to come back home. They missed me so much.

　　　　　　　

　　　　　　　

りさは、最初は 誰だか分かりませんでしたが、すぐに、グランパ、グランマだと分かりました。
At first, I didn't recognize them. It didn't take long before I remembered who they are.

無事帰国♪ Came back to Japan safely

８月６日


　　　　　　　　

りさは、５日、リトルロックを朝早く出発し、アトランタ経由で、成田に、きょう６日、午後１時２５分に、無事、帰国しました。
I left Little Rock at 3 am. After a two hour lay-over at Atlanta International Airport, we finally were on our way home. My family and I arrived safely at Narita International Airport on the 6th.

リトルロックも、毎日、３０度を越す暑さでしたが、カラッとしていました。
日本も３０度を越す暑さですが、湿気があって　ベトベトした暑さなので、慣れるのに時間がかかりそうです。
Almost everyday the temprature in Little Rock was over 30°C degrees and it was just as hot as here, but as compared to Japanese weather, it wasn't as humid. I may take some time to get used to the muggy weather in Japan.

読書 Bedtime Story

りさは、本が大好きです。
I like to read many books.

だから、いつも寝る前には、パパに、ベットの上で、お気に入りのご本を読んでもらっています。
That's why I always ask my daddy to read my favorite book before going to bed.

本を読んでもらうと、いつの間にか、グーグー、と可愛い寝息をかいて寝ることが出来ちゃうのでーーす！
I can sleep comfortably z z z・・・・・

ところで、帰国の日が近づいてきました。
By the way,　the returning to Japan date is just around the corner.

日本にいるグランパ＆グランマに会うのが楽しみです！
I'm looking forward to seeing my grandpa & grandma in Japan.
