Sat., January 16th is a Saturday work day that is 3-4 days a year, but I took a day off and went to SOTA activation at 1,375m on Mt. Monomi in Saku city.
↓中継所保守用の林道から登る。
↑ Climb from the road for maintenance of the relay station.
ここは群馬との県境にあり、先週行った三峯山に比べ、雪は少ない様だ。
This is on the prefectural border with Gunma, and it seems that there is less snow than Mt. Mitsumine, which I visited last week.
↓日の当たる林道部分はかなり雪が融けている所も。
↑Some forest roads in the sun have melted snow.
雪も少なく山頂迄20分位なので、今回もスノーブーツのみ。
It's about 20min. to the summit, so this time only snow boots.
↓林道を登って行くと、東から朝日が射してくる。
↑Climb the forest road, the rising sun shines from the east.
↓まっすぐ行くと広場。手前の階段方向へ進む。
↑Proceed in the direction of the stairs in front.
↓少し急な階段だが、この階段以外は全てなだらかな道。
↑The stairs are a little steep, but other roads are gentle.
↓途中で景色が開ける。モルゲンロートに染まる群馬の山々。

↓山頂に到着。日の出時間を少し過ぎていた。

↓山頂に着いた時の温度は+0.4℃。意外に暖かい。

↓早速無線機の準備。

まだだれもオンエアしてないよなとSOPTを確認すると、ZL局の21MHzSPOTが見えたので、試しに聞きに行くと、「おお！聞こえる聞える！」
When I checked SW3, I saw the 21MHz SPOT from ZL, so I try to heard it. I said "Oh! I can hear ZL1 !"
よく聞くと、BYZ局だ。SPOTを確認すると、確かにJhonさんだ。
Listen carefully, it's a BYZ-san. I check again, Certainly Jhon-san.
慌てて呼ぶ!無事にZL1とY319/M419でS2S成功。今日は幸先が良い！
When I called it in a hurry, I succeeded in S2S-QSO with ZL1.
次に14MHzでCQを出すと、台湾、ニュージー、北米からコール。
QSY to 14MHz, Calls from Taiwan, New Zealand and North America.
朝早いせいか、割とDXのCONDXも良いみたい。
It's early in the morning, so the DX CONDX is good.

続いて21MHzにQSY。ここでも再びBYZ局から呼ばれた。
QSY to 21MHz. Called by the BYZ-san again.
日付が変わったので2度目のS2S。チェイサーポイントが加算だ!
The date has changed, so second S2S and Chaser points are added!
7MHzにQSY時にSPOT確認。YN-055移動のBOK局を見つけて、無事にS2S。
QSY to 7MHz. I found a BOK-san's spot at YN-055 and get S2S-QSO.
7MHzでCQを出すが、応答がない。周波数を変えて再度CQ。
CQ at 7MHz, but there is no call. Change freq. and CQ again.
10分程CQを出して、やっとの事で韓国局から呼ばれた。
After CQing for 10min., I was called by the Korean station.

その後も時折呼ばれるが、余りCONDXは良くないみたいだ。
It is sometimes called after that, but CONDX is not so good.
CQを出し始めて20分程すると、突然パイル気味に呼ばれ出した。
20min. after CQing, I was suddenly called as pile-up.
J-クラに載ったのか？ 0,1,3,4,5,8エリアから呼ばれた。
Was it listed on the J-cluster? Called from areas 0,1,3,4,5,8.
↓10時半を過ぎると黒い雲が出て来た。
↑After 10:30, black clouds came out.
今日は、午後から、雪または雨予報である。
Today is the snow or rain forecast from the afternoon.
パイルが途切れた所で、急いで撤収。

21MHz/CW 5-QSO ZL=1 S2S(ZL)=2 included
7MHz/CW 19-QSO S2S=1 included

↓11時過ぎには撤収して、来た道を帰る。
↑Withdraw after 11 o'clock and go back the way I came.
↓帰る途中で見つけた木。熊が爪とぎをした後の様だ！

山頂まで直ぐなので、ラジオをつけなかったが、気を付けねば。
I didn't turn on the radio because short climing, but I have to be careful.
↓雪や雨に降られる前に車まで戻り、お湯を沸かしてお昼。
↑Return to the car before it snows, boil water and have lunch.
