【香港：衛生】8/21ウナギ以外の中国産淡水魚にもマラグリ

　…ウナギ、だけじゃあるまいと思っていたら案の定。中国産のウナギからマラカイトグリーンが検出されて大騒ぎになったのに引き続き、香港政府の検査で8～9種類の中国産淡水魚（食用）からもマラグリが検出されたそうな。

　政府が行ったウナギおよび淡水魚の抜き取り検査についての結果を発表した。それによると、ウナギについては62のサンプルのうち55からマラグリ検出。（サンプル全体の88.7%)
　淡水魚については12のサンプルのうち4つの香港地元産淡水魚からは化学物質が検出されなかったが、残り8つの中国産淡水魚のうち3つからマラグリ検出。さらに21日には17の淡水魚サンプルのうち7つからマラグリを検出した。ただし、その含有濃度はウナギに比べきわめて低いという。

　香港政府はこれら検査結果をすでに中国側に連絡しており、中国側の輸出魚の検査を強化している関係で、21日になって入荷する魚の量が激減している。明日以降の輸入魚の量は、中国側の輸出許可いかんなので、量は予測できないとな。
　当局によれば、香港地元産の淡水魚は安全であるが、中国産のものについては「心配ならあまり食べないほうが」との弱気な呼びかけに留まっている。
　明日以降、当局は漁業関係者などと連絡をとり、今後の対策をたてていく所存とな。

香港の2台大型スーパー（パークンショップ　と　ウエルカム）　は当面のあいだ中国産の淡水魚の販売を自粛する。ただし香港地元産の魚は残す。今後は海水魚を多く仕入れ、需要に対応する構えとな。

【香港：娯楽】2005年ミス香港は葉翠翠（８）さん

　20日、香港のテレビ局「ＴＶＢ」主催の２００５年度ミス香港コンテストの決勝が行われた。結果は以下の通り：

The 2005 Miss Hong Kong Pageant finished at Hong Kong Coliseum tonight. After taken place at TVB City last night, the pageant returned to the grand production at the Coliseum.

After a night of competition, the winner was chosen, and she has been the hottest favorite from the beginning, #8 Tracy Ip. Tracy has plenty of fans, and in fact, she has many fans every time when the delegates went in a public function, and they would have rooting boards and banners for her. Her win is well deserved. Her wish if selected as Miss Hong Kong is that she would like to extend her charity work all over the world.

1st runner-up is #15 Sharon Luk, who shined through the night. She could easily be named as the most beautiful eyes delegate. Her gown was also one of the best creations among the group. 2nd runner-up is the most statuesque delegate, #16 Carrie Lam. She was poise and very polished the whole evening. Both runner-ups are well deserved as well.

Worth mentioning is that out of all celebrities who had chosen the 20 delegates, two Sophie Rahman's choice was among the final top 3 (Tracey and Carrie).

Surprisingly, one of the biggest favorites to win, #18 Erica Yuen, didn't manage to grab any other awards tonight. Though, she rounded up the top 5 delegates along with #13 Cindy Lee.

#7 Natalie Koh won the Miss International Goodwill title, while #14 Shermon Tang bagged the Miss Photogenic title. Tracy Ip also won the Miss Charity title.

This year's pageant had paid a lot of focus of doing charity in Southern Asia where suffered from Tsunami last December.

Also, it is nice to see Selena Chow among the panel of judges. She is one of the top pageant icons in Hong Kong. Previously she had involved in many pageant events. One of the most memorable events was that she fought for Miss Asia's participation in Miss World and Miss Universe in 1989.
