Malaria's sting spreads as temperatures rise.

In Kenya's highlands,where it once was rare,Africa's biggest killer has found new territory.

The boy was feverish,vormitin,and wouldn't eat.His mom rushed him to a village clinic,suspecting measles,typoid or one of da usual childhood ailments found there.
Instead,da doc diagnosed a disease she knew little about:malaria.
Though its Africa's biggest killer,makaria has always been a regioal blight.In da coffee-farming villages around Mt. Kenya,malaria is very rare.
“The situation changed very quickly.”Mbugua:regional medical officer,said,“Malaria became a concern all of a sudden.”
Worldwide temp rose 1.3degrees F.during da last 100 yr,but recent studies suggest temp.in Afica r climbing faster.In Kenya's highlands,max annual temp. over da 20yr r up about 1.8degrees.
