「秘密法、即時廃止求める」 弁護士８団体声明

国民の「知る権利」を侵す恐れのある特定秘密保護法が,明日１２月１０日に施行されるのを前に、秘密保護法対策弁護団など法律家八団体が八日、法律の廃止を求める共同声明を発表した＝写真、神代雅夫撮影。
八団体は参院議員会館で会見した。声明で「強行採決で成立した秘密保護法は憲法の基本理念に反し、民主主義や国民主権を有名無実化させる危険性がある」と批判。「施行に断固反対し、即時廃止を強く求める」としている。
集団的自衛権との関係でも「行使容認と一体となり、武力行使、戦争遂行を可能とすることになる。憲法の平和主義の原則と相いれない」と指摘している。
社会文化法律センター代表理事の宮里邦雄弁護士は「この不当な法律を事実上運用できないようにする必要がある。その世論形成の一端を担いたい。今回の総選挙でも重要な争点になるべきだ」と話した。
八団体は対策弁護団、同センターのほか、自由法曹団、青年法律家協会弁護士学者合同部会、日本国際法律家協会、日本反核法律家協会、日本民主法律家協会、日本労働弁護団。
特定秘密保護法は「防衛」「外交」「特定有害活動（スパイなど）の防止」「テロの防止」の四分野で、「漏えいが国の安全保障に著しい支障を与える恐れがあるもの」を閣僚ら各行政機関の長が秘密指定する。政府の意のままに秘密の範囲が広がり、国民に必要な情報が永久に秘密にされる可能性が指摘されている。
