美人歌手Linda RonstadtとのduetをYouTubeで聴いてみると、実に素晴らしい。時々響く、Hoyt の低音とLinda の天使のような美しい声が見事にハモっているではないか。
それで、"No No song" のように、解説を試みようと思った。だが、えらく難解なLyricで手に負えない。どだい、この曲のテーマは何なのか、さっぱり分からない。
「永遠に報われない愛」がテーマと言っていいのかどうか？ "the devil"にヒントがあるのだろうか---
