ジャマイカ出身。米国のモデル、女優、ミュージシャンのグレース・ジョーンズの7thアルバム。全英チャート12位。邦題は「スレイブ・トゥ・ザ・リズム」。アルバム全曲をトレヴァー・ホーンがプロデュース。
ブルース・ウーリーが作った1曲を奪胎換骨よろしく様々なアレンジにより全く別の曲として成立させた実験色の強いアルバム。元々は彼女が出演した、A・シュワルツェネッガー主演作『キング・オブ・デストロイヤー コナンPART2』のボツ挿入歌。他にもアート・オブ・ノイズの新曲として考えられていたものを転用したという説もあり。
ジャケットは当時の夫、ジャン・ポール・グードが担当している。
