スタクリッジのメンバー、アンディ・デイヴィスとジェイムズ・ウォーレンが結成したエレポップ・ユニット、コーギスのラストシングル。A面曲をトレヴァー・ホーンがプロデュース。オリジナルアルバムには未収録だが、2003年に発売された2枚組ベスト"Don't Look Back: Very Best of the Korgis"にAB両面とも収録されている。 ユニットは、1992年、2005年に再結成、それぞれアルバムをリリースしている。
Steve OrientとP.J.ことPat Devlinによるポップ・ユニットのデビュー・シングル。A面曲をトレヴァー・ホーンが共同作曲・プロデュース。バグルスの2ndアルバム「モダン・レコーディングの冒険」と同時期に同じサーム・イースト・スタジオで録音された。このためか「モダン・レコーディングの冒険」に参加したジョン・シンクレアとサイモン・ダーロウが共同作曲・プロデュースとしてクレジットされている。全英チャートで10位以内にチャートインしている。ただしこれ1曲で音楽シーンから消えた模様。

アート・オブ・ノイズの1stフルアルバム。前年に発売されたミニLP"Into Battle With The Art Of Noise"から「ビート・ボックス」「モーメンツ・イン・ラブ」2曲を残し、英国チャート8位を記録した「クローズ(トゥ・ザ・エッジ)」を始めとする新曲と差し替わっている。またこのアルバムリリース時に初めてメンバーの正体が発表となっている。邦題は「誰がアート・オブ・ノイズを…」。 レコーディングは実質アン・ダドリー、J.J.ジェクザリク、ゲーリー・ランガンの3人を中心に行われた。にもかかわらず、トレヴァー・ホーンにばかり脚光が当たることを不服とした3人は1985年にZTTからチャイナ・レコードに移籍。後にミスター・マリックのテーマで有名となった「レッグス」(1985)、バーチャルDJ、マックスヘッドルームをヒューチャーした「パラノミア」(1986)、グラミー賞受賞曲「ピーターガン」(1987)、トム・ジョーンズの復活作でプリンスのカーバー「キス」(1988)など次々にヒットを飛ばすこととなる。途中1987年にゲーリー・ランガンが多忙を理由に脱退、1990年にバンドは解散する。 1999年にアン・ダドリー、トレヴァー・ホーン、ポール・モーリー、そして元10ccのロル・クレームの4人で再結成。アルバム「ドビュッシーの誘惑」をリリースしている。

セックス・ピストルズの仕掛け人としても有名な英国ファッションデザイナー、マルコム・マクラーレンのミュージシャンとしてのデビュー・アルバム。NYでまだマイナーだったHip-Hopとアフリカ音楽を融合、Hip-Hopを世間に知らしめた歴史的名盤として評価されている。トレヴァー・ホーンが共作、プロデュースを担当。スクラッチを初めて導入した先行シングル「バッファーロー・ギャルズ」もヒットしている。 同じようにスクラッチを導入したハービー・ハンコックの「ロック・イット」がグラミー賞を受賞したことに対して、ホーンは「僕の方が早いのに…」とぼやいたそうだ。(「バッファーロー・ギャルズ」は82年、「ロック・イット」は83年発売) 音源を求めて、マルコムとホーンはアフリカ、中南米、テネシーなど長期間旅行を行った。随所で聞こえるアフリカ音楽はマハラティーニ&マホテラ・クイーンズによるもの。彼らは後にアート・オブ・ノイズと共作している。そのアート・オブ・ノイズのメンバーのアン・ダドリー、ゲーリー・ランガンもこのアルバムに参加していて、そのためか今作は"Art of Noise 0.0"のアルバムと後に評されている。ほかにキーボードでトーマス・ドルビーが参加している。 邦題は「俺がマルコムだ!」。
