She told me that her and her brothers used to sit and watch the filming take place and she says it was one of the most magical things she’s ever seen. 41 Xaraxania, Wight Gold Xaraxania, Wight Gold 2 年前 I swear Gregory Peck was THE most handsome man that ever lived.. swoon! 454 Larry 306 Larry 306 1 年前 This brought me back to a time when they made real movies with real actors.. Coronavirus got me watching this movie and I'm loving it. Durban South Africa Lockdown 3 Satoru Yagi Satoru Yagi 1 年前 Today it's Nov. 8,2018, I was cruising on the YouTube, found this movie. The story I have loved very much when I was middle high school boy of 13 or 14, In Tokyo Japan, Mark Twain's story translated into Japanese. I laughed, read again, and laugh again so many times. and somehow forgotten the book or the story. I did not know the story became the movie. After 70 years later, in the USA where I live now, found the movie which I did not know it's exist. It's a joy to go back to this Old humor story by Twain. I am having a happy day 522 marlene singleton marlene singleton 1 年前 I love Gregory Peck's voice. 306 Arnold Martis Arnold Martis 11 か月前 Don't anyone get the essence of the movie of how greedy, materialistic and untrustworthy peoples are? 32 Almouna Saddiyeh Almouna Saddiyeh 1 年前 Thanks for posting this move. I was born in 2001 and probably watched it when I was like 9 2 John Robinson John Robinson 1 年前 i saw this film in the UK when I was just 14 years of age and thought it was a great movie. Unfortunately gone are the days when they made movies like this, just straight , clean family movies and no torrid sex scenes. Gregory Peck was indeed a truly great actor and his movies were always great too. I can truly say, those were the good old days as far as movie making was concerned. 61 Helen Lauer Helen Lauer 2 年前 My god that man was beautiful. The only possible contender is Greg himself in several of his other films.
Objectively speaking (and I am completely objective when it comes to the Great Grand & Gorgeous Gregory Peck) so objectively speaking :
Greg is the most dignified and ruggedly beautifully handsome actor EVER 🌠
And he's got dozens of fabulous iconic films that showcase his heart-pounding presence, his mountain-deep velvet thunder voice, his towering distinguished stature, his compassionate thoughtful soul, his strong, commanding, protective paternal-fraternal spirit 🌠
Greg gave so many superb performances right from the start in his very first film Days of Glory. His BEST are Twelve O'Clock High, Captain Newman, Guns of Navarone, TKAMB, Capt Horatio Hornblower, Keys to Kingdom, Roman Holiday, Yellow Sky, Bravados, Moby Dick, Gunfighter, On the Beach, Valley of Decision, Gentleman Agreement, Cape Fear, Pork Chop Hill, MacArthur, Scarlet & Black, World in His Arms, Night People, Man in Gray Flannel, Purple Plain, Marooned, Paradine Case he performs superbly in all these.
And Greg is pure pleasure to watch in Duel In Sun, Yearling, Spellbound, Big Country, Omen and even in screwball comedies Designing Woman & Arabesque (where he's endearingly goofy as he is subjected to the whims of Lauren & Sophia)
And this film, well its a sugar-sprinkled smorgasbord of Gregory delight, a ninety-minute fun fashion photoshoot of Greg in all forms of turn-of-the century finery.
In short it is a proof-perfect testament to the most handsome actor that ever graced the screen: the inimitable & eternal Great Grand & Gorgeous Gregory Peck 🌠 24 annalee williams annalee williams 3 か月前 It's fascinating how money alters one perception of you.. 4 Alys Williams Alys Williams 1 年前 Gregory Peck: still one of the handsomest men in the world. Saw it on 02-04-2019 on Film 4. Excellent revelation on social altitude around wealth; or at-least the illusion of fiscal wealth. The million pound note aims to reveal how altitudes alter in the presence of what is considered wealth, a recommended movie to those who happens to be studying economics or possesses such knowledge and wishes to humor themselves on the subject of irrational human behavior. interesting on how £16,000 gain was generated for Henry.
Again many scenes has been cut shot from the original version, this video didn't reveal the scene on the hotel maid hiding the note under the carpet. 1 Brenda Drew Brenda Drew 1 年前 Thanks for sharing a great movie as well as a great story based on a Mark Twain short story!
